@Akio123, Yeah I agree the combat needs to stop, haha. My last reply to this is an attempt to iron out the last few kinks in this whole mess and see who wants to stay here and who doesn't.

you said it best man chris is only one guy who happens to be a fan just like the rest of us and he is trying his hardest on a daily basis to help out with whatever information he can get his hands on. some legit, some not but this is a fan site and it is also up to us to help out the best we can also:)

It would actually be very difficult to rid anyone negative because everyone can be negative at any time

^Which I completely agree with! It's hard to gauge how people will be until they post however. But I'm not sure what to make of your intentions, as on the reddit thread, which bashed us for the "fake" videos, you used the same screen name and said this:

"Hey guys, im one of the members of Godzilla-movies.com and I just wanna thank whoever made those fakees cuz I knew exactly why u did those, so u can prove that Godzilla-movies.com should not be trusted and should be like idk banned.

to answer your question on how godzilla came back after thirty years its quite obvious when godzillasaurus was teleported back to their time he was still the original only instead of the h-bomb creating him he was teleported back to a waste zone of nuclear energy then became more powerful when devouring all of the nuclear sub marines energy in godzilla vs king ghidorah 1991 :)

@Chris, I have to agree with you, and its nice to know you have accepted clarity to the situation. I know you have recieved alot of heat lately. Which is unfair, you're only one guy, trying to help. Many of us here still appreciate your contribution. Everyone just needs to chill out on the keyboard combat and recognize that a movie is no reason to agrue in a offensive way. We are all just Godzilla fans in the end. The more positive we remain, will make this wait go by much more easily. 

by the way guys yes sadly a troll won but that should not effect us at all like it is said 3 and half months left i am very positive that we all will be enjoyed for what is to come

@Like A Bossk, well said. You hit the nail right on the head with that one - arguments over a fictional story and character are ridiculous. Debates are great, that's a difference of opinion, but nobody can be "wrong" or "right" about something unless Godilla was real.

@Junkerde, You missed the point completely and you seem to somehow be trying to passively diss us as well. "Clicks" and "traffic" aren't the main focus here. By me saying "thanks for the 10K hits", that was to basically show that all the troll did was increase our popularity. Trolls want to see a reaction, they want to see people freak out and break down. No point in that. Laugh it off and move on. Like many level headed members have been saying - we all make mistakes and this IS a fan website.

And to prove clicks and ad revenue aren't the focus here, I've completely deleted the article, which was still gaining a ton of clicks regardless of the updates made. So now we won't make any hits or ad revenue off that post. 

The goal has always been to bring the fan base together. Many of these other forums don't even run a news column so they have no idea how a news site works. We run both a news site AND a forum for the fans, best of both worlds, yet sometimes you do run into roadblocks like this. What matters is how you move on and learn from it.

I've reached my limit trying to defend us and bring people closer on those other forums however, it's honestly pointless. They're happy in their own corner and resent any form of new company. I've got a lot going on, not just on this website, but 10+ more we run through Scifed, as well as maintaining an actual life. So, I'm sticking to G-M from now on and I'll welcome newcomers as they arrive, but I'm done trying to make friends with people who don't wish to be friendly on other forums. It's unfortunate that this troll managed to pit a bunch of the niche sites against eachother, but to be honest, a couple of the older forums never liked us off the bat anyways, because we're "new". This stunt only solidified their displeasure with us.

could be both slow walking but a bit faster at running i say slow because in all godzilla films to date except that 1998 film he has always been fat and slow moving

yeah...think this disscution was super neccessary, im afraid to even have a solid discusion with out someone just shuting it down, and yeah my latestet one was a copy i guess... but maybe im over looking it but thats how i saw it they just kindof attacked me cause i was just wrong... but i do agree with this topic even though im not on here 100%  but mine goes in general for the website.

Not that I made this discussion to "call out" anybody. So if anyone feels offended, that wasn't my intention..I care more for the Godzilla fanbase, and I just don't want us getting all torn apart about good and bad information on a movie. Think about it, we are 60 years of fans with new generations coming. I myself am apart of the new generation for I am only 17. Think of all the kids that will get into it because of the new movie. So we all just gotta stay cool, until this movie comes out. 

there are more fights in the last 2 days since the 'reveal of the troll', i made a post that asked 'what is the best movie to recommend somone showing an interest?' and then AKAGI and GMAN 2887 have an argument.

I have not seen that much fighting, but it's still there and it needs to be stoped

DC67 Nahh you were probably missing out a lot then, yes its the trolls too, but its also the fights and arguments that go around on this website, there's just very less getting-along going around here

What Chris should do is come up with a way,or policy of blocking certain people like trolls.like someone on this disscussion said,we will all forget about this issue and maybe focus on the REAL marketing for godzilla! its just not right trolling other people who have high hopes for this movie and making their hopes down.....NOT COOL TROLL hope your watching this!!!

Technically Little Godzilla was kidnapped by Spacegodzilla. Remember the beginig of the Heisi (I think I spelled that right) was a relaunch to the series, starting with a sequel to the origninal movie. Little Godzilla is the younger incarnation of Godzilla Jr. Plus he looks like Minilla during the showa era (and the pillsbury dough boy). So Minilla is technacally Little Godzilla, his look was just updated for the movie. 

LIKE A BOSSK I totally agree with you, like totally, letting him be slow will let us know and feel how much strength he has and stuff, but then the other side making him fast would make him look silly and awkward.

This discussion is totally un-useless, it was perhaps necessary actually.  And yes I know that I do am the person that gets into the fights and arguments in this website, but its not my fault?

We have people here, which I wont name call, and most of you know anyway,  but we got people here that yes like u said ONLY want legits and start shit-talking to anyone who makes up a speculation when it's mis-understood as a real news, cuz they dont know how to read to make sure it wasnt someone who was just making a prediction.

Yes that happens in like all my discussions, I make a prediction or speculation, and I EVEN SAY THAT WHAT ILL SAY MIGHT NOT BE TRUE, but then I get all the hate and trash talk for no reason.

@akio123.   That's what I'm getting at. Rob does have some good videos, but calling bull&$%# on fans for doing what fans do gets at me in a bad way. i just don't like the negativity in his videos. Just let fans be fans, and calling people out for speculating on a fan site comes off as silly to me.

But yes, I agree with all of you. These troll(s) have created a real issue amongst us, I wish we would have handled it better. But its sad, last year, the site was so cool with each other, but now, everyone is in their defensive mode. And it shouldn't be that serious. Another thing is, I actually like Rob from ETN. Hes a cool guy..BUT I don't really like how he makes "Bullshit" videos calling people out. All it does is add fuel to the fire..It creates more negativity..Which all in all does not help the movie. 

Agreed. I like this site, but I understand that it is in no way official. It's almost funny how upset and angry people get over the information on here. That's one of the reasons I can't watch the guy on YouTube, I think It's ETN. He runs a Around calling fan sites/speculation B.S. When everyone knows it should be taken with a grain of salt. I just hate it when people get there kicks by calling out fans for speculating.

Whatever happened all i know is this troll won and is laughing somewhere. He managed to destroy the relationship between websites, reddits godzilla forum, tohokingdom, scifi japan, and godzilla-movies. Its insane how divided weve become, and the troll succeeded.

He gave this website 10,000 more hits but that was part of his point, that it was only the hits that mattered, he fooled us all, he showed us this website real moral value was on just website hits. Hes insane id say to go this far. Hes caused chaos for all members, there is even some inner conflict with members everywhere outside of here now.

I think they all just snapped, they wanted something, and this troll took advantage. Hes like the goddamn joker in the dark knight (bad analogy but whatever) thats all i have to say. But when marketing comes (whenever it does) most will forget about this, hopefully. but its such crap now, us as gfans are eating eachother alive.
