did john carter show lack of exposure when the film released

even guardians of galaxy is out in 6 months, they already show off toys, marketing and trailers but godzilla just one trailler so far. John carter failed in the box office because of not enough marketing around.

it is odd that there's no marketing for godzilla 2014 and yet the movie is out in 2 months. most movies have their marketing and toys out more than 5 months before their release dates.

I definitely learned my lesson after that feb 14th bullshit. It'll be cool if it does come out but I won't be so dissappointed this time around if it doesn't.

Godzilla 2000 will always be my favorite.I wish they did more with that design.

i really cant say the same there dinoboy22 they might be as impressive as godzilla like i said we will have to wait and see.

i guess your right. im impressed by godzilla. im more worried about the mutos. im worried that there just going to be underwhelming

I wouldn't be asking any one of them to take that chance, if I didn't have complete faith in their ability to succeed, but their marketing will never be more needed than it is today

really depends on how successful everything is there frozen but i am for sure that it will.

i dont have any clue as to when i hope it is sometime soon but in my opinion i am sticking with february 28th- sometime in march that is all.

I know Godzilla looks a little friendly and cute for the kids. I'm just saying it reminds me of Hanna Barbera because of the stance and the look of his face. The film version will look incredible.

why does everyone rip on these movies? i know that they can't compete with shinji higuchi's special effects but lets not forget that the heisei godzilla films dominated the box office at that time.

Sounds like the Feb 26th trailer date is legit. All these descriptions are the same and with the trailer coming out with 300 we have less than 2 weeks till we see it.

Looks real, I just zoom in the picture real close to see the sign at the bottom of NECA 2014 Godzilla and it saids "NO PHOTOGRAPH".

Well, now there's another rumor saying that (supposedly) the new trailer will be released on February 27th, but I'm sure as hell that its more of the same bullshit we've seen on previous days.

I wouldn't expect to see any promotion at all until the beginning of May.

Ok, so now we've seen like two or three people describing the same trailer. Seems interesting but, as seen on previous rumors, there's nothing guaranteed so we better be careful to avoid any bad surprises if they don't release the trailer on February 27th.

I already knew.My favorite is the 2000 suit with the huge scutes and that awesome face!
