Sigh.
The test trailer for The Amazing Spiderman had a completely different lizard in it-- when they reshowed the trailer, it had the lizard that actually appeared in the film. The original lizard was never heard of again.
Same goes for the centipede monster. It was in the original comic-con trailer, but then replaced by a spider-like creature in the reshowing.
Hes not going to be in the movie, and it disappoints to hell out of me-- but you forget, the public wasn't even meant to see that monster.
OMG ! It's POKEMON EVOLUTION GUYS. Godzillia have become TitanGod-Zilla !!!
The new King look so superly Epic almost matched to the orginial. I can't wait for this movie, Me and my friend are so excited about this :D.
"They are gonna send us back to the Stone Age" - Heisenberg 2014.
the Sony Zillia on the other hand ... look like shit ! R.I.P Sony Zillia.
@Gman2887 - Wasn't that the commercial that Dark Horse adapted into a comic book?
Anyways, I found this... "ad"... thing...
... seriously, what is that?
@Gman2887, that is a great one! I actually have the Dark Horse issue that they made from it signed by Charles Barkley.
That link currently isn't working, but I still agree with your point. Why would they put that shot of a dead centipede-like monster in the SDCC teaser if said monster wasn't going to be in the movie?
Not only that, but from what we know, the Mutos, while big, are about as big as Godzilla's foot. That centipede-like monster looks to be about the only thing we've seen so far that's actually big enough to give Godzilla a fight.
Where in the world did he get this!?!
If there's something strange... In the forum thread... Who ya' gonna call? GILLBUSTERS!
If I mixed the two up some how, I am sorry, but I still stand by the idea that Ford's mother dies when he is young.
You guys are leaving out one of the most popular Godzilla commercials from the 90s.
That link isn't working, all you need to do to post images is copy the image after you upload it to tinyPic or Imgur and paste directly to the page here, no need to paste in links, and it will size and center itself. :)
If you are having difficulty , PM me the link url and I will post.
I think that the figure overall looks good since it is intended for younger kids, The head is fine thought. The neck is the only problem i think. A lot of people think that the head is the wrong size but the neck is the wrong one, the head is in porportion, ots just the neck makes him look like a damn girrafe. Bottom line nice but still looking foward to the Neca figure.
Amazing find.
@Gman2887 Cool find dude!
But thats not what Gareth said in the interview I watched. He called Elle his mom...
Dude, this is the second thread this week you've made just to gloat about being right about something. If you're right, you're right, but there's no need to be smug about it.
Elizabeth Olsen plays Elle Brody, who is Ford Brody's wife. Ford's mom, Sandra Brody, is played by Juliette Binoche.
Godzilla has done some funny things over the years as king, especially in commercials.
For record, its radiation, not fire. Fire is too weak to do the kind of damage a NUCLEAR force of nature would cause. Godzilla is a symbol of nuclear destruction, thus he breaths radiation. Sorry if I sound rude. I just get annoyed when people call it fire, because it's not fire.
I guess some people really are luckier then others any ways ether of u guys going to put a link to the pic that would be awesome .

Hilarious. I laughed pretty hard. Kids will love this thing. Looks fun. I might have to buy one to scare my dogs when they're bugging me during a meal.
I really don't mind if he has gills. Gills or not, I've come up with my own explanations for just about anything about Godzilla that could prove he could exist in real life, including the whole "gills debacle". So, I;m fine with whatever. I'll update my ideas as more info is shared about the Big G.
I remember seeing this PSA on TV at a very young age.
Isn't that sweet? He may go on destructive rampages through the cities from time to time, but there's no denying that Godzilla is a good dad.
I hope they make a TV ad like that one for the 2014 movie.
Godzilla: Unleashed for Wii. You swing the controller and Godzilla uppercuts Megalon. Also, go to the main menu, press A+Up (on the D-Pad), and enter: 204935. You're welcome.
I don't care if you, your friend, or anyone else here are scientists. That doesn't change the fact that you're getting your panties in a bunch over a very minor character detail. Godzilla having gills isn't really anything more than a minor detail that justifies one of his abilities (the ability in question being Godzilla staying underwater for very, very long periods of time). It's the equivalent of saying that Anguirus has a very flexible backbone that allows him to roll up into a ball like an armadillo. It's a change to the character, but it's so minor that it doesn't warrent a bunch of forum threads discussing it, let alone one thread.
And even if Godzilla doesn't look like he has gills in the brief glimpses we see of him in the latest trailer, how in the blue hell do you explain this?

This is an image I got from this thread. You see those flaps of skin on the side of Godzilla's neck? They look different than the rest of the skin all around that area. I'm no expert in biology, but I think I've seen enough goldfish, sharks, and what have you to know that those look like gills. If those aren't supposed to be gills, than just what are they? Seriously, I'm all ears as to what those skinflaps could possibly be.
now onto the other monsters. That's just kick ass that Talaghan is now confirmed to be in the the film! I also like that fact that there is the possibility that there are giong to be more than just 2 HUGE mutos in the movie! and that there is possibly going to be a WATER MUTO??!!! THAT'S JUST KICK ASS!!! wonder who will be the BIG DADDY boss muto?
I see what you mean about the gills, but keep in mind that he is most likely supposed to me a mutated monster. which means that different aspects from different animals could have mixed with him during his mutation and that if there was more than one godzilla, that evolution could have had a playing part in it. that's just my opinion. i actually think it's cool that you went to a scientist about that. Now there are actual scientists studying Godzilla!!!
Yeah i saw that image too. tried to post it but computer wouldn't let me make a disscussion. I remember someone saying how they worked a movie theater and some guy was telling him that he had seen a early release of the film and that the atomic breath looked " different". the picture of that toy actually looks different but cool. even though it is a kids toy, i hope they come out with better looking figures. i can't wait for the 12 inch and 24 inch figures.
Well, people are likely more in shock about how everything is crumbling around them first before noticing the giant culprit, and those who thought they saw him would likely be interrogated and notified that they experience heavy trauma from the event that caused them to believe they were seeing it.
@ LegendarysGodzilla...In the original Godzilla, he is absolutley described as being a dinosaur. And in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah(Heisei series,) they show the the dinosaur that becomes Godzilla. So I'm not sure why you would say he isn't. And many of the movies, including the original, never mention any hunger for nuclear power. This occurred in '85 and beyond.
Too bad they didn't show them actually using the Atomic breath.
Wow, I haven't seen a movie in theaters twice since Freddy vs. Jason, that had to be over a decade ago. Yeah, it's getting at least two viewings from me than it's bootleg until the blu ray comes out.
it's definatly close to the final desgin but that 'brazil face' is not the actual desgin, compare that to the what we see in the trailer and the empire magazine cover, that 'brazil face' looks very diffrenet and unfinished, however it was probably close
i supose this, after attacking him with so many 'tests' in the pacific up to 63, godzilla dissapears for about 50 or 60 years then attacks the nulcear plant (if that was him) or is reawaken by the radiation from that plant which could've been attacked by the MUTO monsters, who were probably engineered by MUTO to combat godzilla should he or anouther(depending on the actual plot or the characters perspective) but i'm not sure on that, about half of the answer will be in the Godzilla: The Awakening prequel comic
@Danielle That is how everyone thinks. "I don't like it! SO ITS NOT TRUE".
At this figure. Its for kids. We probably all owned dumber stuff as children.
Best of all-- this proves my point. The Brazil Face is relevant and is the final design.
That is the most awesome MUTO drawing i have ever seen in my life!
