I recently got the Godzilla Atomic Roar figure. I can honestly say I'm impressed. All the details on it are good, and the atomic roar feature is cool. Plus, it includes an accurate roar sound effect.
That was epic xD

This is gold. :D

(Man, I love that line... )
yep you basically answered your own question. And this topic has been covered before like you said.
these are the feet (way different):

First off, welcome to the forums!
That is indeed an arm. At some point in the movie, it appears Godzilla gets knocked down.
I've brought up perspective, but only said it wasn't " an absolute accurate comparison" to comapre Muto and his feet in that scene, but I do agree he's probably up to Godzilla's knee from the wondercon footage vs his feet in these pictures:

I also don't believe that it's a third MUTO, the picture was more like an example for the lots of MUTO speculations in the internet.
The three weeks left will feel like 3 month.... ^^
That silhouette bandai photo of the muto has been revealed as a fake by the way
@TheGman123- Take my currency!
People have been bringing up perspective a lot but it really doesn't look like that to me and that the muto really does come up to about Godzilla's knee. When we see the guy at the airport backing up and looking up to the muto the full scale is pretty much revealed. Just my opinion but the perspective stuff seems to be wishful thinking.
Now that is extremely impressive. Making a robot with zBrush.
All this talk about the insignificane of Humanity to Godzilla has got me thinking....
We need a new video game that highlights this fact. Gameplay revolving around avoiding the King of the Monsters' rampage, knowing that he could appear anywhere, and you wouldn't ever be able to truly escape him, since there is no physical obstruction that could keep him away. Of course, there would have to be a reason he doesn't just ignore you, but still.
In fact, this could apply to any sort of giant monster, in a destroyed city setting where the only goal is to get to somewhere safer than your current position, avoiding a gigantic titan of a beast all the way. It could make for quite the emotional thriller!
Agreed DannyBlazor. Agreed.
@Something Real- Oh God(zilla), that is terrifying.
@KingKaijuGojira- That's an interesting take. Why do you think that?
This picture is also very interesting:

Maybe 3 Mutos? Is Hokmuto neither the winged nor the 8 legged MUTO?
3 weeks left, then we will know it :)
If I had a dollar for every time I heard Gigan or Rodan on a MUTO topic...
I once had a dream where I was right in the middle of Godzilla attack... People were screaming and clambering over one another, trying to get away. He just walked, as if he were unaware of all the insignificant people who were dying beneath his feet. I remember buildings collapsing and the air being filled with dust. The deafening mixture of screams and inhuman bellowing clogging my ears. Last thing I remember was an intense light and feeling my body disintegrate before I woke up. I was in a cold, terrified sweat.
As much as I love Godzilla... He terrifies me.
A commission for an original character KRASER, a Jaeger type giant kaiju killing robot.

probably similiar to rodan and gigan
@Destoroyah-X- It's hard to find like-minded people in this world anymore. I'm glad you and I share such an opinion. We are parasites, quite so.
We will have to wait to see in the movie
Maybe hokmuto cant fly yet at the airport but it mutates into flying muto cause of Godzillas breath
Hokmuto from the airport has already wings, maybe it can spread it again -> the wings get bigger and wider so it can fly. At the airport scene it looked like Hokmuto hasn't it's final form like on the screenshot from the halo jump where it attacks godzilla in the ruins.
I speculate since hokmuto absorbs radiation it might absord the radiatoon from godzillas breath whem they fight at the airport amd when the big g blasts his breath at hokmuto it almost dies but absords the radiation from his breath and mutates into flying muto
Wow kinda strange...not even a single comment from Instinctivegigan komplaining that this topic belongs to the merch-thread ._.
I speculate the Airport muto Hokmuto mutates or changes into flying muto :) and the mutos do have genders
Also, I think it would just be fun to watch big dumb monster movies for two months straight.
@Gman2887 @Madison I totally get it. But my intention was never to paint Godzilla in a negative light. My rationale behind doing a "Worst of" month is because the new movie is coming out in May, and I wanted to show that even if the movie turns out to be bad, there are still plenty worse movies in the franchise out there.
And if it turns out to be good, it would make the new one look that much better, and then we will be following it up with a "Best of" month. I just like to get the bad stuff out of the way first so that the good stuff is that much better by comparison.
I believe the eight-legged Muto would be a heavy character with heavy attacks that deliver massive blows. I believe that flying Muto would be a fast character with fast attacks that do alot of damage, especially in combos.
You're definitely not alone on this one. Godzilla, when handled effectively, is truly a terrifying thing to behold. For me, seeing something that huge and unstopable is as horrifying as it is awe inspiring.
However, at least in my opinion, what makes Godzilla, namely the King as he appeared in his original film, truly terrifying is more subliminal than visual. One criticism often leveled against Godzilla is his lack of true motivation; in the original film, he simply appears to destroy Japan. He lacks an overt reason for destroying, unlike most monsters of the time. King Kong is lost afraid in the alien environment of New York, and views everything as a threat. The Rhedosaurus of Harryhausen's Beast from 20,000 Fathams is returning to his ancestors' breeding grounds, which just happens to be New York as well. But we don't really know what drives Godzilla. Is it anger? Possibly a desire for revenge, or justice? If thats the case, revenge or justice for what? Most critics of the time dismissed this seeming lack of motivation as laziness on the part of Godzilla's creators, but they were missing the point. Godzilla's lack of true, clear motivation was by design. Understanding where monsters like Kong and the Beast come from, and knowing why they are acting the way they are, makes them less terrifying and more relatable. Once we get them, we fear them less, and often sympathize with them.
But Godzilla is completely different: he is beyond human understanding, as is his reason for doing what he does. This ambiguity is, in my opinion, one of the character's greatest assets. What people do not understand, they fear. Godzilla simply is, and our inability to know truly where he comes from, and why he seems set on destruction, make him even more terrifying. When, in most of the sequels, we gradually come to understand Godzilla a little more, we find it easier to empathize with him, and even side with him. But when presented in a serious way, as he will be in the new film, the mystery of Godzilla, combined with his obveous great size and power, serve to make the creature more frightening and unique. :)
AH, dear, what a mess of thought this is! Quite the interesting mess, I might add.
I believe along the lines that the MUTOs' gender will be left ambigous until a crazy reveal in the movie (like a nest).
To put to note, however, the Wined MUTO actually isn't quite that mall compared to Godzilla. It's just further away from the airport (as it is still near the monorail train, whereas Godzilla is very close to the airport).
The cacoon-like structure seems like something of a shield to allow the MUTO inside to mutate into a more powerful form...
@Something Real & @Devianteist:
I'm glad to know you see where I'm coming from. I am just speaking from how I really feel about mankind's disrespect for nature and our planet Earth. Look around and see what is happening today. Hundreds of thousands of animals or wildlife are being slaughtered everyday to feed the voracious appetite of the human race not only for food but exploitation in many other ways. I do believe that humanity, despite having the ability to be sentient, has turned out to become a parasite and a cancer that's inflicting damage on the planet.
It's at times like this that you wish a creature like Godzilla really exists to pose a challenge to humanity and to put things into balance isn't it? I think that's what the movie aims to achieve.
@Something Real- I wasn't planning on sleeping tonight anyway, ma'am. No, seriously, I have a vivid imagination, and just imagining that is terrifying... And awesome.
