Well I think it's well known by any1 that regularly visits the classic section that my vote goes to Burning Godzilla for a number of reasons, that I've listed on so many threads. I'll look them up and copypaste the answers onto this 1 eventually.
@Kage432- I'll be doing the same as you. Waiting for more opinions before I step in myself with my view.
^ we don't know that yet. I say a good amount. :) and critics, and fan reviews.
I had already seen it on the fan contest submissions. You seem to have particulary nice set of skills. It looks awesome. Hope you win!
@DEVIANTEIST - So, will you be participating in today's debate my friend?
@Kage432- So I've seen. A previous topic of mine, Zilla: Respect or Tolerance, brought in many different minds, and was quite a great topic, till it flash-froze at 54 replies. As did Who Is Godzilla's Ultimate Foe.
I like to stir up the pot. I hope this topic'll do that yet again.
@DEVIANTEIST - Well, versus threads always did have a way with bringing all kinds of people together under a single topic. I've met some of the most brilliant people through them and some of the most stubborn.
Also, edge up your OP. A path to one of the discussions isn't working.
@Kage432- I'm a very curious person, and it was you and Gman's debate, and our short debate, that inspired me to figure out what everyone thought. Curiousity might kill this cat, though. Plus, it helps me learn how best to interact with other people, in person or digitally.
Well I'm not going to make any predictons on the box office just yet. As they say, it ain't over until the fat lady sings, so its premature at this point for me to give a good estimate of the expected box office.
However, I do want to know how much this movie has to make for a sequel to happen.
@DEVIANTEIST - I didn't think you'd be curious enough to want to engage in debate.
@Kage432- "Honestly I didn't think you would be the one to make this thread."- Really? Why do you think that?
As for that, I think if Gman2887 drops in here, we'll have an insanely nice debate on our hands.
@DEVIANTEIST - Honestly I didn't think you would be the one to make this thread. For now I'll wait for more opinions to circulate or for GMAN to arrive so we can do this thing the right way.
I don't think humanity will be on the edge of extinction but I do think the world as we know it will end when the dust and ash settles. Humans would be forced into a new way of life, forever living in fear of the return of giant creatures. The chaos that unravels in this film is likely the introduction to something far worse. Governments will no doubt envy Godzilla's power and try to overcome him through science or other means. Perhaps this will eventually lead to the earliest foundations of a G-Force like corporation, or perhaps not. Either way humans will need to be ready for a future encounter with the Kaiju and whatever choices thay make in preperation for whats to come will ultimately translate into what or who remains standing in the end. And as for the death toll - I'm sure they've lost count.
Good talk SOMETHING REAL :]
Godzilla (Final Wars one) was more agile than burning godzilla, and didnt need to ener a state of crisis do use the red radiation breath used to kill Keizer ghidorah.
Final Wars Godzilla- just about
$60 million is fine, but with X-Men coming out the following week, it will have to do better if it wants to hit the $800 million mark worldwide,
Is this only for opening day on Friday? Or is it the entire weekend? Cause 60 million dosent seem that impressive for the weekend? But I have to realize that the movie will also be out in thearters for weeks.
You mean my Godzilla vs Gamera discussion? That was a pretty cool debate they had going there. I think the strongest Godzilla is FW.
I pre-ordered my tickets and I am going to see it a day before the official release, right after school is over for that day!
Oh my god.....

8 legged muto, done.
I would take your argument seriously if we weren't talking about a 350 foot, atomic ray breathing dinosaur who happens to stand the test of time. You want to throw scientific facts around Godzilla lol. I study animal behavior for a living. What You're saying is right on, but I don't think you understand that you simply cannot apply these rules to a being such as Godzilla. He is both complex and simple at the same time.
By 'finish' I literally mean finishing off his enemy, not a mission he was morally sent out on.
You're saying Godzilla cannot posses complex emotions yet you're willing to theorize that he acts out of vengance.
Optimism is running high, I see. Good. We need more of that.
Well. That is odd.
I'd bring this up with a moderator, admin or any one of the staff. They might know what's wrong.
Holy crap you're a good drawer.
I'm going to school since the premeir is 8:00 in Las Vagas. but I'm not going to do my homework. I'm going to wait in line and get the best spots in line.
i know someone would say that..I will post the screen cap..
I signed in with my username :
And then what it did after i signed in is :

They told me to create a new account AGAIN,and sign in AGAIN..i tried to do this seeral times.
Actually, I also had to create separate accounts for Godzilla-Movies.com and Scified. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what exactly is giving you trouble, Skreooonk1789.
And what if both MUTO have wings and are multi-legged? :) Oh and hi everyone I am new here :)
Nope. As big a Godzilla fan I am, I will not skip out on work/school just for a movie that will be around for years to come.
Yes, I will be quite mad if I cannot go on the 16th-18th, but I'll live.
Uhm. Then how are you posting this thread and have 105 posts?
You already have an account, Skreooonk1789. Not trying to be rude.
I graduate the 15th so I'll be going to the midnight release that same night, and then probably again on the 16th lol

Ya, I know it's just do you truly believe that humanity has learned it's lesson? I'm sure there would be some high ranking individuals who still think a nuclear bomb could decimate these animals! And we haven't seen it yet so we don't know and as I said it was only speculation!
EVAN123
No, it is highly unlikely they would try to use nuclear bombs against the kaijus considering that nearly 50 of them were used against Godzilla during the Pacific Proving Grounds to no vail. You can read more about it here: The Marshall War
The death toll would be immense if cities population are not evacuated in time while these monsters hit cities across the world. One thing's almost certain, hundreds of thousands of lives will die in this Godzilla movie.
Yeah I'm working out the details but the plan is my brother will take me to see a midnight show and if I have to go in to school that day then I will.
I've actually thought about this quite a bit and I believe that the biggest loss of life and damage to the environment will be due to humanity's desperation to end these creatures! Nuclear bombs being dropped in a last ditch effort onto heavily populated areas or something of the like. There just my thoughts and speculation!
