Did Female MUTO had to be killed?

Female MUTO, also called "Femuto", had died because of godzilla's atomic breath. But Femuto was in that time, was a pregnant. She was having baby MUTO. If movie-director didn't killed Female Muto, we could have seen muto babies, crashing buildings, and Femuto become adult.. We didn't saw muto's adult, in real movie. It could have been a large scene if muto adult and godzilla faught like King gidorah. How do you think about?
