I can hardly wait for any reveals of the toys. Diamond select has already started making collectibles for aquaman and shazam, whose trailers were released the same time as the trailer for Godzilla . Let me know what you think.

I've always been impressed with NECA. As for when, I think 60-90 days pre movie release would be a good time to show what is coming.

They usually reveal merchandise several months in advance, but I hope that it's not exclusive to a certain retailer. For example, Rampage merchandise from earlier this year was only sold at Wal-Mart, which was frustrating. NECA has already confirmed they're making figures for King of the Monsters, so that's awesome.
