Stan Winston's Godzilla concept for a film that never got made

I really like this design. In fact I almost like it more than the current legendary one.

Good God no. Godzilla looks like one of those duck-billed dinosaurs. Just no.

I always liked this design. I had seen it years ago, shortly after they shelved this and went with Emmerich. It's always good to view a design from different angles, and in fact there are other pictures of this concept and it's a pretty cool design. Like most I've seen, I personally might change/tweak a couple of things (a tad too reptilian), but this is light years ahead of GINO and I do like it better than the '14 Legendary look.

As a whole I like better than the 2014 design, though I still hate the type of underbelly/chest design for both it and the 2014 version. I far prefer the more anthropomorphic, muscular build to the chest--Or even the ripped skin on the 2016 Godzilla.

Overall this looks very much like Godzilla and I think it would've worked well on screen.
