MemberMothra LarvaeJun-15-2015 11:47 PMThis is something that I've sat on for a while.
How does King Ghidorah (or any multi-headed kaiju for that matter) work?
In reality, when an organim is born with two heads, usually one controls on section of the body and the other the opposite.
But we're talking about three heads here. Eight in regaurds to Orochi.
Is the center one the main head? Do they all work together in order to move?On top of that, does each head have a different personality? Or is it all just one hive mind?
I honestly don't have a clue. What do you guys think?

MemberBaragonJun-16-2015 4:51 AMIt seems like with Ghidorah all of the heads have their owns senses and will with the middle head seeming to dictate most of what happens. Even without this head though it seems the other heads can control the body to at least a decent manor with the other two heads managing to attempt to fly away before getting shot down in Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, and in Final Wars when all the heads were destroyed except one Keizer still seemed to be awake at least but it didn't really do much after that point except get thrown around so the ability for 1 side head to control the whole body is still up for debate.
From what we've seem I would go with the middle head controlling the monster and being the main form of decision making, but without it the other heads can control the body if need be.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-16-2015 5:48 AMI'd like to think that the heads are more like limbs, and that there's a single brain inside the body – it's an alien after all.

MemberGiganJun-16-2015 8:25 AM@Durpoo4, I agree
I also believe Ghidorah's heads think similarly, not the same. One might have one idea, where the other two have a different one. However, they all get the same thoughts, as they share one body.

MemberTitanosaurusJun-16-2015 10:41 AMI always assumed it was a collective consciousness. Each head could here the other's thoughts. It makes sense, seeing as the heads act as one being.

It may work for Keizer Ghidorah, but 1 it was Monster X before transforming, and 2 the center head is longer than the other two, showing it's dominance. But all of King Ghidorah's heads are the same lengths.
