Debate Week Season 6!! Day 5.
The villanious beast Viras vs the digging bandit Baragon! Lets begin!
Lets begin with the burrowing bandit!
Baragon is a very strange opponent, his origins are not known and same for most of his powers. But he is probably the closest to an actual earth animal the Godzilla series has gotten.
Baragon as mentioned before has amazing burrowing abillity, as seen in GMK he was able to burrow beneath the earth and then reappear within a short amount of time.
Baragon also has great jumping skills, as seen when he tried to pounce Godzilla in GMK, although he failed in most of his attempts.
Baragons Durabillity is ok, he was able to withstand a great deal of Godzilla's attacks in GMK before he was incinerated by an Atomic breath.
Baragon is 25 metres, thats 82 feet.
Now, the villanious...Squid...Demon...Viras!!
Viras does not have any projectile attacks, but do not fret, he is a master at the art of Squid melee!
His trademark attack is when he uses his tentacles to constrict around his opponent's, like a Boa snake it is incredibley deadly. It infact, dealed severe damage to his opponent!
He also, this make's no sense but has a Beak! And a sharp one at that. This beak is sharp enough to destroy and bolder! It also harmed Gamera!
The tentacles on his head he can, with a lot of energy constrict them into a spear which can stab straight through a building, and also badly hurt Gamera!
Now, unlike a lot of monster's from any monster series. Viras can use telepathy! To psychologically harm enemy's, another one of his deadly attacks. Although he didn't use it for deadly purposes.
This has been Debate Week Season 6 day 5! I hope you have enjoyed and lets hit for 6-8 replies, and i will see you Monday!
Good grief.

I'm going with Baragon because he can burrow and come out under Viras.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-09-2015 1:45 PMIf Baragon were to shand a chance, he'd have to get "crafty." He is among the weaker and smaller of monsters.
In that aspect, I will always "root for" Baragon!

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-10-2015 8:27 PMI know more about Godzilla kaiju than Gamera kaiju. I looked up info on Viras to see who I think would win. After reading Viras' info, I would have to say Viras would win.
Reasoning: Viras is a creature in which he and all of other mebers of his species mutated into Kaiju but kept their sentience from their previous form. Viras and his kind were smart enough to kidnap two kids and use them as bait to lure Gamera. He then planted a mind control device on Gamera awith the help of the rescued children) in the end(with the help of the rescued children), and by freezing him.
Baragon would have to be very quick to escape Viras and his crushing tenticles or the telepahty attack. If Baragon wants to win he would have to develop a freezing ability...Which frankly isn't going to happen...
