AdminGodzillaDec-01-2014 11:58 PMThe Soundtrack Challenge has returned, but... “the rules have changed.”
TIERS
Members can now chose one of three tiers: ELITE, REGULAR and THEMES.
-
ELITE – Is the most difficult tier. It contains the most obscure and difficult pieces of music to identify in the Godzilla series.
-
REGULAR – The “normal version”. It is very similar to the pieces released during the original game, albeit, a touch easier.
-
THEMES – The easiest version of the game. Focuses only on identifying themes for monsters, characters and military.
Once you have chosen a tier to play you may not play any other tier. (For example, if you chose ELITE, you can not also play THEMES or REGULAR.)
If you decide a tier is too easy or too hard you have the opportunity to switch. However, switching tiers also means you forfeit any points you may have won.
RULES
Only ONE musical piece will be released for EACH TIER every day until December 25th.
ELITE and REGULAR questions:
-
What movie is it from? - Name the film the clip of music is from.
-
Who is the composer? - Name the composer of the specific piece of music. In some cases the composer of the film did not do the musical clip. So guess wisely.
-
Whose theme is it? - This question may not always be asked. When asked, please answer to the best of your ability what monster, character or faction the piece underscores.
-
What scene is it from? – This question may not always be asked since some scores get repetitive. When asked, explain the scene from which the track happens. Be very specific or your answer will be rejected.
THEMES questions:
-
Whose theme is it? - Please answer to the best of your ability what monster, character or faction the piece underscores.
-
What movie is it from? - Name the film the clip of music is from.

Each question answered correctly is worth ONE POINT. The member with the most of amount of points by December 25th wins the tier they're playing.
