Heck Godzilla could have withstanded all the nukes, they were nothing more then maybe, 16 megatons. 48 Megations wont do anything substantial.

Remember though that she laid eggs. It's not live birth. Sure, she would've been a bit weaker, but she's a Kaiju, and they aren't as weak as their normal animal counterparts. As well, her egg-laying didn't look all that tiring out to me, considering that though there were a lot, they were small, and her clutch wasn't tremendously large for her size.
