Battra is bassicly a seperate species of Mothra. Mothra is more of a stay back and wait for the right time to strike monster. Battra is the moe aggresive flyer nd attacks other monsters constantly. Battra was a thrivin species of monsters during Godzilla's time mainly because it never attacked Godzillas. It mainly attacked Mothras and smaller monsters. Like Mothra and MUTOs, Battra goes through a larval stage where it crawls on the ground until it reaches maturity and cacoons itself. It takes 4 months for the larval to normally hatch from its egg, any amount of time to go to cacoon stage which means Battra goes into a cacoon at any time, 1 year to hatch as a full grown Battra, and then lives for as long as it has radiation to feed off on. Battras do kill other animals but it is purely to limit the number of animals to kill them or there young. Similar to the MUTOs, Battras would lay there eggs inside of dead kaiju to constantly feed off on radiation. In larval stage, Battras have horns on their heads and have their own silk but it is very sharp and causes sharp pain. As the Battra turns into an adult they lose their spiked silk but they grow their horn out, have a poisonous sting, and they obiously grow large wings. The only reason we could see a Battra in the future is because some Battras laid some eggs before they died and one egg sucked all the radiation from the other eggs allowing it to live for longer in its egg.
What did you guys think? I'm glad you like last weeks Biollante origin! :) The vote that won was 1! (seeing as only 1 person voted :() Next week is a suprise! Here are Battra's votes! Vote 2 isn't battra but it looks like it could be, almost. I like the 1st adult form but the 2nd vote larval stage.
