GMAN2887 - I happen to agree that the Rodan is rather...hideous. I'd love the design as a horror-based creature. That being said, it looks too, hmm, primitive and grotesque for my liking. I've always envisioned Rodan as a more sleek and vicious-looking creature; not a primordial nightmare! :)

Well explained, Something Real. It looks like a skeletal-horror creature, not Rodan. I can get behind that Mothra though.

I liked the designs, pretty cool. 

It sure is interesting to see these things for the first time with no idea what they are. 

GMAN2887 - He kinda' reminds me of something from Resident Evil or Dead Space (both of which I've tried to play and wound-up quitting due to heart-palpatations and a general inability to keep from screaming whenever something nasty jumped out bloody to grab me!). On the other hand, the image of Mothra that's been presented is gorgeous! :)

MYSTIQUE - Hahaha!I actually envy you a little bit right now! Having the chance to look upon various creatures from the Godzilla universe with new and unbiased eyes is a treasure! I can remember how excited I was when I got to see these monsters when I was little; I can only imagine what it must be like to see them for the first time without any prior knowledge! :)

Awesome work. Such amazing textures and composites. Looks right out of a film. Mothra looks amazing. The larves look perfect. Rodan, I just love how it's brought to life in those renders, and like a lot of the design, but I just can't agree with that severely geometric head shape. But as a stand alone monster, I enjoy looking at the fantastic renders of it. This is is pro! 

Something Real Gman- Well i mean, sure it looks like Night of the living Rodan but.

Great finds there my friend, Mothra looks amazing, while rodan on the other hand looks to much like gyaos from gamera.

Rodan definitely isn't my favorite. Of his Legendary designs, Biollante is my favorite.

Now though, the artwork is purely breathtaking, and people ask me how come my art looks like movie stills, What about this guy? His are very realistic, bad ***, amazing, and crushes competition.

Just imagine how awesome ghidorah will look in the sequel if they follow this guys artwork.

Oh my god, these are amazing. I actually LOVE that Rodan design...But Mothra..she looks breath taking. Beautiful and creepy. WOW I would LOVE if she looked anything like that.

^ I agree, that Rodan looks almost exactly like the Heisei Gyaos.

These are pretty cool, exept, like BBB said, Rodan looks too much like Gyaos. (Also, Mothra could be a bit better.)

To be honest the only rodan I've ever cared for was the 1956 original. He looked ridiculous in 64, nothing more than a puppet in 93 and bland in 2004. I do lke this design though. Mothra looks great.

When I first saw that version of Rodan, didn't really like it, seeing it at different angles in these pictures makes him look slightly better, but still not a fan.

Fun fact, The rodan i depicted is incredibly older than the both. So reason why it looks like the way it is its bacause i made an Old ptaranadon look on him. But if it is that bad then i will reduce his age by alot, Fix the folds and head.
