Legendary's King Ghidorah could cocoon itself or shed it's skin to become DEATH GHIDORAH!

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-21-2014 6:45 AMSo what do you guys think about Legendary's version of King Ghidorah at some point metamorphing into Death Ghidorah.
Legendary's KING GHIDORAH.
Legendary's DEATH GHIDORAH.
I think it would a good way to represent Ghidorah as being as old as time like Godzilla, and also it would have the same scraggly look that Godzilla's skin texture has.

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-21-2014 7:53 AMthat would be kind of interesting but i think it would be to close the muto story line from the first and im pretty sure will also be cocooning herself. its tradition

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-21-2014 5:06 PMNo sorry but ghidorah is not an insect, hes a reptilian like creature, and reptiles don't cocoon themselves. Plus I think just sticking with ghidorah is good enough.

MemberBaragonAug-24-2014 11:37 AMThat would be a lot of cacooning. So most of the movie would be mothra and ghidorah in cacoons while I guess Rodan and Godzilla duke it out.

The King of the Monsters
MemberMothra LarvaeAug-24-2014 8:00 PMThis really just wouldn't work because King Ghidorah and Death Ghidorah are separate monsters. Yes, they are both of the same species, but they aren't the same character. Maybe teasing Death Ghidorah when the humans discuss King Ghidorah's origin might be a better way to include Death Ghidorah.

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-28-2014 8:38 PMReptiles do not undergo metamorphosis by nature, and thus while this is a cool concept it does not work in a "grounded" and "realistic" themed movie like the franchise Legendary is putting together. The only time reptiles shed their skin is when the skin either dies away or, in the case of snakes, when they outgrow their old layer of skin and begin to grow.
