As we, know Legendary revealed their plans to have a movie based on Skull Island, in which the description looks alot like Monster Island. Could Skull Island and Monster Island end up being the same place set in the same universe to interconnect the Godzilla and King Kong franchises?

It would be pretty awful if Monster Island is Skull Island, having a giant ape running around is definitely what most fans dont want in the Godzilla universe, especially in LegendaryGoji
