Use sculptris, its free and made by the people who made Zbush, it's incredibly powerful and you can will probably be able to achieve this kind of sculpting too, try it, it's a fun program and powerful at that! 

ok, i've been expirementing with sculptris... ITS AWESOME!!! Dood, seriously thanks for recomending it, I'm not joking. btw, how do u save progress? for what u make?
