True American Godzilla

The movie could have been longer to allow more time to get introduced to the characters and mythology and care for them... but overall was good.
The thing that really impressed me about the GMK Gojira the most was just how POWERFUL this ATOMIC RAY was! For one thing it has an extremely long range as shown in various occasions...
...but the most impressive moment was in the first shot of it being used, where as soon as it hit GMK Gojira's target it did this (below)...
This is how the Atomic Ray/Breath SHOULD BE LIKE! Think about it, Gojira is supposed to be a physical representation nuclear bombs/atom bombs and the fear/danger in using them. However, when just about all Gojira/Godzilla use their breath weapon, it can merly push an enemy around (and singe them in the process)...
...or be explosive but not nearly to the same degree as actually making a mushroom cloud, thus being extremely devestating...
So Final Wars Gojira had an explosive Atomic Breath, but explosives that are truly destructive like the Atom Bomb have that well known mushroom cloud. Legendary Gojira had a more pushing Atomic Breath (thanks to the MUTO shell armor, they were only pushed) and high heat.
Both are nice, but to me a true breath weapon that's just as dangerous as the man-made nuclear bomb is the one GMK Gojira had.
Sure, the down side with GMK Gojira's Atomic Ray is that long re-charge. However this is realistic if you think about it. The more powerful the weapon, the longer the recharge has to be to even things out. Medium strengthed weapons can be fired more rapidly than the 'big guns' but don't do as much damage. Small guns are the quckest but are very weak.
If only Legendary Pictures had done the GMK Gojira style Atomic Ray, then I'd say he had the best Atomic Breath representation around.
