Zilla should be rebooted as his OWN monster, with it not being a reboot to Godzilla and the previous film not existing on this universe
Zilla Jr will be in that reboot ,fighting another kaiju.
The new Zilla series can be tied to Legendary Goji, Heres how:
He can be a biological cousin of the Godzilla species during Godzillas time 250 million years ago, think about it, "200 ft tall piscivores who run away from fights. A subspecies looks the same, but is larger (300 ft tall) and has similar abilities to Godzillas, like Atomic Breath, Durability and not willing to back down to a fight and a good swimmer and intelligent"
As some of you know I am writing a fan fic about Zilla Jr as his own monster
Just incase your worrying, Zilla Jr will somewhat be related to iguanas but will be his own monster just like LegendaryGoji, , however, the monster he will be fighting will be eating tuna and an actual iguana pet that was on Lucky Seven when it wasbcontaminated, so its basically Zilla Jr vs Giant Mutated Iguana
The fan fic will be called.... IGUANA GET YOU SUCKA
Anyway do you think Zilla Jr should get his own film in the Legendary Universe?????

The zilla jr tv series was enjoyable and fun, unfortunately it got caught in the Pokemon vs Digimon battle that was going on at the time so it didn't go longer, but for what it got I think it did a good job reinventing the character and making him much better in the fans eyes.

I think Zilla should rot in hell.
But I think his design and Zillla Jr should remain. Zilla doesnt need his own film, Zilla Jr does, it can expand on Legendary Universe and bring dignity to the "Zilla" name. Thid film will also attribute to a Destroy All Monsters like sequel

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-12-2014 12:33 PMthe awnser is no, a movie with zilla would be a comercial faill, maybe a live action tv series or a made for tv movie, but why would someone make it, the producers would know that it would not be banckable due to zilla's little popularity, besides zilla jr, already has a good animated tv series

The dude's a celebrity. And no, this isn't out of fanboy rage of anti-Zilla bull, the dude has just made a name for himself already.

I'm thinking it's not since the animated one did not go after people whereas the FW version did. Also, I don't recall the FW version using his atomic ray in his battle with Godzilla.

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-12-2014 11:15 PM@Ray Burrberry His battle in FW lasted 10 seconds. He may have had it, but he was dead too soon. Plus all the monsters in FW (except for Godzilla) were under the control of the Xilians. Much like Zilla did in the animated series, the few times he was mind-controlled. I believe the Godzilla Wiki says that Zilla in FW was created as their imitation Godzilla, but I'm too lazy to check. Either way, it's not in continuity with the '98 movie or the series.
Overall I like ZIlla Jr. But his story has been told, I feel like there shouldn't be a reboot, somethings are fine the way they are, Zilla is one of them.
