MemberBaragonJun-03-2014 8:55 AMHey guys. This isnt really a discussion, but more of a question. Since you guys are really cool, especially when helping others, i came here to ask: (I may sound like a TOTAL N00B)
How do you create a fan-made trailer?
I have always tried to find out how to make one and I could never find what I was looking for. I got different answers totally out of topic and not answering the question. I have seen some beautiful fan work here and there. Now I want to share my fan work with you! Now if you have the time, please answer my question stated above. Thank you for your time! I will check back here and there.

MemberTitanosaurusJun-03-2014 9:23 AMYou aren't a total noob. I also do not know how to make a fan-made trailer. I always assumed that when a fan and a trailer are in love, they... ;)

AdminGiganJun-03-2014 10:41 AMDepends on what you want, but you would need bits of footage and music (non copyright) and cut it and place it together with windows movie maker or some other similar program, then upload it to YouTube.

Thanks a bunch, but since I am using a Mac, do you have any other suggestions that are MAC compatible. Vegas Pro is not for mac just yet.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-03-2014 11:13 AMI think most Macs come with iMovie. That should work!

Not mine, I have a MacBook Pro. iMovie is $14.99 on the AppStore.
p.s. I know you said "most".

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-03-2014 12:42 PMHmm then I'm not sure. I'd say download Wax, but I'm not sure if that's only on PC.

MemberGiganJun-03-2014 3:49 PMHey Shazo, lots of us don't know how to make trailers!
I have iMovie, it was one of the free apps that came with my MacBook Air. If you look in Launchpad, it should be there. I haven't even tried it out yet! :)
I'm sure you'll get lots of help from our members, with the technical know-how.

Thanks, but i said that because there are a lot of creative minds here on the forums and I felt that i was the only one that didnt know something like for ex: a fan trailer.
@LONE
