As we know so far a sequel has been confirmed but we still have dozens of quesions to be answered but i think i have some answers but this maybe fake i remember reading this on a topic here a long time ago (2013) anyway

1.Setting-Possibly Monster Island (Gareth said it himself)

2.Monsters-Hedorah,Mitodah,Godzilla ( Hedorah is from a nuclear incident and Mitodah is an "earth saving" monster.. yeah)

thats probaly 2 questions answered now 70000 to go

now imagine what hedorah would look like in brand new 2014 style like godzilla it looks a bit cheesy but look at him now imagine that happening to hedorah he/she/it would look pretty cool and Gareth said that one of his favorite Godzilla movie besides the 1954 one was Godzilla vs Hedorah. Oh and one thing i already made a thread about this a long time ago but its probaly forgotten now and so as the info but maybe its real what are your thoughts?

Obviously, everything is speculation at this point. My guess; the nuke that detonates on the boat at the end of the movie either awakens or mutates something. Rodan and Anguirus could make sense as they are based off of real dinosaurs that existed and thus could have a similar background to this Godzilla. This movie just came out after years of waiting so the thought of the sequel and going through all of that waiting again seems a bit unfair and daunting in a way. Then again, Gamera supposedly comes out next year so theres that to look forward to. I'd like Toho to bring back Godzilla in between the American movies because one can never get enough
