Hey all, just thought I would share some pics (not the best picture quality, my apologies) of my Godzilla half-sleeve. My artist is Dominic Cooper at Infinite Art in Toledo, Oh. The basic idea was if a Ukiyo-e artist witnessed Godzilla's first attack in '54 and recorded it through his art. This is about 5 1/2 hours of work. I have another hour to go, which will add color to the cherry blossums, the fire in Godzilla's mouth and the largest of his dorsal plates.
I'm extremely happy with it thus far and the pictures really don't do it justice. I've had a few gasps when I pull my shirt sleeve up completely. I hope you guys enjoy it.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-10-2014 3:27 PMThanks for the kind words, guys.
@Danzilla93 There's a few of us here in T-Town. When I was wrapping up with my last session, another artist showed me pictures of a Godzilla sleeve he did for a woman a month ago. Ironically, I went to Michael's Crafts on Airport Hwy that evening and it turns out she works there.
@Anguirus The fire will be blue, no question about it. I'll be getting it colored in early July. I'll post some pics then.

@Deadite-I don't know your pain tolerance, but depending on where you get it, a tattoo may not hurt as much as you imagine. The upper arm isn't that bad, mostly like a mild burning or pinching at times. It gets pretty hairy when it gets close to the elbow or the shoulder, however.
