How would the MUTOs fare against Godzilla's adversaries from previous movies?

So now that we know the details and appearances of the MUTOs which Godzilla would be up against, the only thing that's left unknown are the abilities or should I say, the power which the MUTOs possess and how would powerful the MUTOs would be when compared to Godzilla's adversaries from previous movies.

Given that Godzilla 2014 is a complete reboot of the franchise and shares no links to the earlier movies, I think we could say that the MUTOs might be considered a 'Level 1' enemy of Godzilla? Provided a sequel is to happen, which would then introduce a more powerful enemy of a higher level of power.

With that it makes me wonder then, how would the MUTOs fare when compared against the other enemies of Godzilla? We do know Godzilla has got many adversaries that come with  special abilities and exaggerated powers, but how about the MUTOs?

Would the MUTOs be much weaker in comparison due to the limitations of the story-outline which borders towards something more realistic and down-to-earth? or would they pack a heavier punch when compared to monsters like King Ghidorah or Gigan or Biollante?

We haven't seen how they fight yet so we really can't make a good assesment. For all we know, they might do better than any other monsters ever have against Godzilla.

we'll have to wait till after the movie. But i'd wager it would have a rough time of it. If it is THE ancient enemy of Godzilla, then it runs the risk of overspecializtion. It could be so well suited for fighting Godzilla that it would have difficulty fighting anything else. Especially if it does have a parasitic relationship like many have suggested. Perhaps that small pair of arms on it's underside are claspers meant to help it attatch to Godzilla...

Until we see the movie, no one can be certain. But, they look like they can hold their own. For now, lets just see if they are worthy to face the King.
