Godzilla Minus One 2, Supernova and Monarch news

is it possible that graboids, and a**blasters from tremors inspired the mutos?

ok i know i am wrong with this but this topic was made just for fun :)

anyway when i went back and looked at the mutos face it reminded me so much of something, something i forgotten all about the movie tremors.

now gareth did say these are original monsters in this film, though if you were to watch the movie tremors it could be classified as a monster movie of its own.

Now when compare the faces it looks dead on with the graboids face but with the heatsensor for its eyes and then plus it can fly like the a**blasters from the tremors 3 back to perfection.

Anyway i thought this might bring few good laughs to everyone.

what do you all think?

There's definitely similarities in the jaws.

I am agree with Duratok. I remember that Gareth Edwards stated that to create his new monster had watched others evenfrom  B movies (for my opinion the original Tremors does not fall in this category, it was very well done for its time and it is one of my favs too), and doing so he created and amalgam. FOr me the similiraties in the physical look are with Cloverfield (pretty obvious), Graboids, Legion soldiers (Gamera), and the bugs from Starship troopers (whose have similairities with Legion soldiers and Mother Legion herself too).

It is possible. Gareth didn't mention them by name, but their mouth shape is fairly Muto esque.

However, I'd say that Starship Trooper bugs were a larger inspiration, evidenced by the sharp curves rather than the slightly smoother droop of the Graboids mouths.

Naw I think the mutos were inspired by the Starship Trooper hunter bugs

Life is very simple, but we insist on making it complicated.
