MemberMothra LarvaeMar-25-2014 6:52 PMAl'righty my fellow godzilla fans, i just wanted to ask an honest question...
some one couldve made a topic about this, but here i go
now 50days until he rises to wreak havoc, this is the question i wanted to ask. is there still a doubt that this movie hasnt won some godzilla fans over yet? not you guys but some... because me, i dont wanna sound like a know it all but the movie trailers alone and the markiting, i think gearth knows what hes doing. but thats just me plus in the trailers there two MAJOR things we havent seen yet and i dont want to say anything but just think about what we havent seen yet,
so my big G question is... does anyone still dosent trust in gearth? because i do and its always good stay cautious, just in case so let me know what you think.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-25-2014 7:19 PMThe trailers alone are already in the top 5 of Godzilla movies ever made. I don't see how anyone who wants to see a serious take on Godzilla could be anything but ecstatic.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-25-2014 7:22 PMI have trust in Gareth, but the main guys who planned not give to much away are the producers not really Gareth.

MemberBaragonMar-25-2014 9:00 PMNo doubt here! :)

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-26-2014 12:12 AMI wouldn't trust Gearth as far as I could throw him. Gareth on the other hand, I would trust. Also, I have a few mates who are Godzilla fans who are being hesitant to get too excited for this film.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-26-2014 7:24 AMThere's always possibility for disappointment and some of us will, no doubt, be disappointed. However, I feel that if you don't go into this movie with an open mind, then you sre setting yourself up for disappointment and even a good movie will full short of expectation. Last week, I sopke to another G fan who worked at a comic book store and he was waxing poetic about who he will see the movie, but he isn't holding out hopes for a satisfying experiance. I didn't tell him this, but with that attitude, he might as well save his money because he just isn't giving Edwards and Legendary a fair shake. Don't be that guy. Go into it with open minded and if it disappoints, well it is just a movie.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-26-2014 8:07 AMI think anyone who's wanted a truly serious take on this iconic movie monster will be very pleased. The only people who might be disappointed are those who want to see the cheesiness of the old movies.

AdminGodzillaMar-26-2014 10:05 AMOf course there are doubts. A lot of what Edwards, his cast and crew have said fall in the category of, "too good to be true." A lot of this could backfire if they set expectations too high, but at the same time all we have to go on is their word and the work they've done before.
The only real wild card is Max Morenstein, but his initial draft has be reworked by so many people that I doubt it's hardly his story anymore.
Are there doubts that they pulled this off? Yes, but more faith that they got it right.
