alright, before i proceed im just gonna come right out, Did anybody disscus this already? because if they did sorry cant find all that to dissus now that the movie is just a few months away. anyways my topic is how do you think the 54 film is going to conect to the new one? all these things have been getting me really pumped for the movie.

Now heres the theroy that herd from onther godzilla fan, he said ( what if in this alternite 54 movie, that maybe they destroyed the first godzilla on odo island ( correct me if i spelled it wrong) but if they used the oxygen destroyer on the island right when they discocerverd the exsitence of Godzilla thus covering up that a creature like that ever exsited?

This, to me, is one of the more interesting mysteries of the 2014 film. Will it incorporate the events of the 1954 movie in any way, or will it start completely fresh. I don't know, but I hope that they take the 54' film into account, and make the 2014 Godzilla a sort of sequel. I feel it is unlikely, but I can hope.

I don't think that it's going to be anything more than a bit of fan service. But, I have this crazy idea that we don't really see Godzilla during this time, but perhaps the creation/discovery of the Muto monsters.

I like and respect the 1954 film but I would prefer they make it so that this is the first time the world has seen Godzilla. increase the horror and devastaion feel that they are going for

thanks for responding, but i think gearth said that it was going to connect back to 1954 maybe im over looking it but it would be pretty cool,

if the movie is an sucess, this might just get people to watch the first movie.
