MemberMothra LarvaeJan-31-2014 9:26 PMHey guys.
I've been finding A LOT of scammers out there trying to get people to see the "Godzilla 2014 Full Movie" online. The problem is that some of them are on websites that don't have a report button like youtube. I report EVERY youtube use I find who's doing the whole "Full movie" thing for Godzilla 2014, because they're full of crap and they're just predators trying to prey on those who are desperate to see the movie.
Do any of you know of a way to report these websites?
I'm at a loss for a remedy to them. I want them gone, but I don't have the means to do so.

For all I know, you can "Flag" report those videos. However, it is hard for such things to get removed. YouTube only takes instant action when copyrights are being broken. It is hard to say. I've reported many things that I felt were false, yet nothing happens. I guess it is because YouTube is supported mainly by the public, since we are the one who uplaod. Although those videos are scams, they're not using REAL footage or images or anything related to the studio and production, so YouTube doesn't make the effort to delete them or the channels.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-31-2014 9:42 PMEvery youtube video I've flagged and reported has been taken down and/or accounts have been closed. So youtube is doing a good job.
It's websites other than youtube that I'm having trouble with. They almost never have such a button attached to them so it's hard to get them gone.

As for other sites, i can only suggest you beseech a moderator or site administrator ...there's normally a "contact us"-type button. You're taking on quite a burden, good luck. Luckily, we've got Chris and you can contact him here @ info@scified.com or me @ freeze@scified.com.

AdminGiganFeb-01-2014 6:30 PMKyero, I would not worry about fake YouTube acounts or websites pretending to have the Godzilla movie out, they really can't profit or anything from posting fake links. Just flag them as you see them and that's the best you can do. Most fans are smart enough to know when it's a fake movie link.
Trying to get every one of them removed, while noble in it's intent, is a very huge and almost impossible task. Rest assured, 99% of people will just click the YouTube channel and see its a fake movie and leave.
You are very kind to be concerned about people getting scammed though. :)
