Great news Godzilla fans,

Patrick Sabongui, the actor as the Master Sergeant on Godzilla (2014) confirms that there is Gareth Edwards' Director's Cut version. Let us celebrate and have a nice discussion!

P.S. I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused you with me having talking a "R rated Godzilla movie and censorship" discussion I posted two or more times. This is the last time that will be posting a discussion for now.

Woa, woa, he said absolutely nothing about confirming a director's cut. This is how rumors get taken as fact. Not trying to be an ass, just saying that it blatantly says he doesn't know if there will be a director's cut. I'd love one but let's not get our hopes up.

That, in no way, confirms anything beyond one actor's opinion about Gareth having his own cut. There is no confirmation of any kind in that statemtent. This is not yet fact people, it's just one actor's opinion on the matter.

This is exactly how false rumors start. By overexcited fans jumping to conclusions and misinterpreting language.
