The purpose of this discussion is for you to choose which of the 3 choices are worthy enough to be the Main Title music for the upcoming film. All 3 choices are pieces of Godzilla Title songs for past films. In the comments section below, type in which option is your favorite and also type in one of your own personal favorite Godzilla songs.
Option A:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZ0sBtcUb14
All of them are great but dont you wish for something new?! ^^ smething even more darker and scarier ;D
If I had to chose it would be #3. I think it would probably fit best. But the likelyhood of the opening music sounding anything like those isn't very high.
there all cool but i think a new rendition of the original theme would be best in my opinion
Definately option 3. DinBoy do you mean like this?
"There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self." - Ernest Hemingway.
Of all three, I'll have to say option A. :)
I hope the main titles of the new Goji flick would be similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQQ9GTV4eoU
Bad movie, great soundtrack.
"Daddy's home- cake every night,"
I love ALL 3 of them! However, Id have to say that those do not fit with the vibe this new Godzilla movie appears to be chasing. Something more haunting, creepy, even sorrowful
Christ, I hope it's not like any of them. Not too sure why everyone seems to like #3, it's so very artificial to my ears. They used a decent keyboard instead of real instruments, and unless you're going for some sort of silly 80's action movie parody, that sound doesn't fit well with anything.
I'm happy with the music selection we've heard from them so far, I hope they stick with orchestral.
Definitely Daikaiju's theme,
"There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self." - Ernest Hemingway.
i hope it is something similar to the godzilla comes ashore theme from 1954
king of the monsters
@Duratok
Ko Otani used a mixture of orchestral and electronic sounds for GMK-- purposfully, he tried to make the electronica stick out. And considering parts of it harken back to 1980s horror I think it's very appropriate.
I kind of don't want to hear any of the old themes in this movie. Plus, who said this will even have a main title opening? Maybe they won't even show the title until the end? Lots of movies are doing that these days: The Dark Knight trilogy. Inception. Avatar. Saving Mr. Banks. I could go on...
