guys in the trailer, you can hear, the one and only, anguirus roaring!! It is at 1:56 and 2:01. I didn't find this out by myself, someone mentioned it in this site, if you ever mentioned it please comment below so I know and give you the credit. No one started a discussion about it so I thought I would. Comment your thoughts, and is it possible for anguirus to return, or maybe his roar make cool sound effects so gareth used it? comment below guys!!!

I hear what your saying but I think that is just part of the music. It kinda does sound like him but most likely not because they said they dont have any of the other rights but you never know!

I can imagine that snarl from Godzilla while we are very close to him, hiding in a building. :D

looked into this myself. Can't help people may be acting on wishful thinking when they've said that, because when you give it a few more listens it becomes clear that it's just a mixture of twisting/grinding metal sounds and the score.

On the subject of the score did anyone else catch near the end of the trailer, more so at the end? The homage to the "BOOM/THUMP" noises in the 1954 original's opening credits? If you you watch the Japanese trailer it's actually featured more! But this may also be, like this Anguirus thing, a bit of wishful thinking?

I'm on the fence. It could certainly be sound effects but considering the love and respect they're giving this film don't be surprised if they throw a lot of winks to us hardcore fans. We're probably going to see twin japanese girls somewhere to honor mothra, a variation of the ifukube score and probably talk about a golden dragon

Perhaps a monster similar to Angurius will team up with/aid Godzilla in the battle against the Mutos? That may be a little too much action for this movie, but who knows?

Guys  I made a slight mistake,  it was at 1:51 and 1:56, and maybe anguirus can be in the movie as a mutated hedgehog, or the muto organisation may have noticed that the number of the muto monsters are too many for godzilla alone so they mutated a hedgehog by themselves, who knows! But so far nothing has been hinting him except this roar...
