Now here's an idea I just had all of a sudden for a movie

Okay, I'm pretty pumped up for Godzilla, and I'm also writing a story about "mechs". This idea literally just came to me as I was reading the forums. Mankind is at war. World War Three. The year is 2105, three years in. Mankind has built Mechs as a way to get past each others defenses. These machines aren't terribly big, maybe about 15 meters tall at best. Anyways, the idea is that one of the "bad guys" are attacking Japan, there's a massive battle going on. During the attack, an elderly man and a kid (because it's not Godzilla without those two characters), are taking refuge near a boat house near the Eastern coast of Japan, off in the distance they can see the flames and smoke lighting and reaching for the sky. The earth shakes, and half a mile down the shoreline a large, black silhouette makes it's way towards the flames. The earth shakes each time the figure gets closer to the destruction of the city close by. The small child asks the old man what that was, and the old guy gets a flashback or something, because old guys always have flashbacks in Godzilla, and in his flashback it shows a giant foot crushing his home and walking away, a small tremor with each step. A large tail is dragged behind. The old man comes back to the present, "That is Gojira. Death manifested in physical form." (but in Japanese) The little kid tugs on the old man's sleeve, and looks up, "Are we being reaped?" We don't get to hear the answer. Godzilla belows out a roar, and the soldiers, still distracted with each other, are torn apart by Godzilla's claws. Some of the enemy mechs, despite being ten times smaller than Godzilla, attempt to kill him. The Japanese mech pilots, knowing what the hell's about to happen, abandon the town and watch from a distant as Godzilla blasts his atomic breath, destroying a good twenty percent of the city, as well as most of the enemy mechs. The story goes on of course. The Japanese soldiers decide that they'll need help with defeating the new monster, after several failed attempts, excluding a nuclear weapon, as they don't want to destroy an entire city if it can be avoided. The Americans, Europeans, and the Japanese go on to create the GodzillaBuster, a giant 145 meter tall mech armed with powerful weapons, including a sort of "energy mirror", like what they did with MG2 after about five years of development and the hopes of using it in the war that is still going on. A few plot twists, and a couple hours later into the movie, it appears that the GodzillaBuster, after being pretty much destroyed, has killed Godzilla, practically blasting his lower jaw off, losing an eye, and missing a limb or two and is not breathing. About five minutes of everyone being happy and celebrating. The credits role, and then the credits stop rolling. Black. The screen is black. Fade in from black. The city they fought in was abandoned, and destroyed. The camera is quickly moving forward while looking at the ground. It stops near Godzilla's remaining eye, and it opens. Cut. End of movie. Sequel is a go. Anyways, I'm sure it sucked. It was more of an idea than an actual story. Let me know what you thought.
