Godzilla: King of Monsters has rounded out its first three cast members. The latest casting news fills out the emerging family that the first two castings seemed to indicate. The Tracking Board broke the news today that not only was Vera Farminga would be joining the cast, but they also obtained some new information regarding character roles in the film.
According to the Tracking Board, Farmiga will play the mother of Millie Bobby Brown's character as well as Kyle Chandler's ex wife. Chandler's character is reported to be playing a 'rugged zoologist' and Farmiga's character is rumored to be a paleobiologist.
Farmiga is best known for her role as Norma Bates on the show 'Bates Motel', which is currently in its fifth and final season. Her other credits include 'The Manchurian Candidate', The Departed, and most recently 'The Conjuring 2'.
Farmiga will join Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler in cast the film.Godzilla King: Monsters will release on Mar. 22, 2019. The film will be directed by Michael Dougherty, and written by Zach Shields. Stay tuned to Scified as more casting news breaks!
