UPDATE (09/02/16):
Although the poster originally shown by Fandango was the real deal, via Funimation, it was a leaked mock-up. The final approved poster with the correct font, critical acclaim and crew list has been released today, via SciFi Japan:

Original Post:
Yesterday, we reported on U.S. theaters listing Shin Godzilla for an October 11th release date. (And more locations will likely be added soon.) Fandango has confirmed the date by unveiling Funimation's Shin Godzilla poster. It lists a limited release window between October 11th through October 18th.
The poster is very similar to Japan's original, domestic version for the film. However it sports a font similar to Godzilla 1985 and, hilariously, blacks out Godzilla's controversial eyes.

The tagline, "A god incarnate. A city doomed," feels in step with the movie's atmosphere. Both Toho and Funimation's logos are at the bottom.
Insider sources claim Funimation will make an announcement September 9th. However, with all the recent attention the film's run in the States is getting, it's entirely possible they could announce it sooner. We'll see shortly.
