Not necessarily Godzilla related, but in the same realm of Daikaiju media, fans will be very pleased to know that Kaiju movies Reigo: The Deep Sea Monster vs. The Battleship Yamato and Raiga: The Monster From The Deep Sea have officially been licensed for a North American release, according to Sci-Fi Japan!

Both independent films (which were written and directed by Shinpei Hayashiya, who also created the fan film Gamera 4: Truth) were recently acquired for distribution by SRS Cinema LLC.

According to Sci-Fi Japan, SRS Cinema are planning to bring Reigo to DvD this November or December, while Raiga is expected to make its way onto DvD by summer 2020.
