Godzilla: King of the Monsters has added yet another cast member to its burgeoning crew. Variety revealed today that O'Shea Jackson Jr. would join the film in an undisclosed role.
Little is known about the film's plot so far, other than that Farmiga's character will play a paleobotanist and that Kyle Chandler will fill the role of a zoologist. In addition, Variety reports that Ken Watanabe will return for the film, as the only returning cast member from the 2014 film.
O'Shea Jackson is best known for his role as Ice Cube in 'Straight Outta Compton'. Jackson will also star in the film 'Den of Thieves'. Jackson is also a rapper with several singles under his belt.
Jackson will join the emerging cast of the film which already includes Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, and Kyle Chandler in cast the film.Godzilla King: Monsters will release on Mar. 22, 2019. The film will be directed by Michael Dougherty, and written by Zach Shields. Stay tuned to Scified as more casting news breaks!
