Shin Godzilla is barely a month away and Funimation has unveiled their official trailer for the film. Although it doesn't show much Godzilla, (playing the same hide-and-seek game with the monster as Legendary's promotional material) the trailer shows new footage of the characters and angles playing to director Hideaki Anno's strength of visual composition. It also includes the late Akira Ifukube's original Godzilla themes from the Showa era, making for a very appropriate return. Take a look:
Additionally, Funimation's Official Shin Godzilla website has a theater locator that will show the nearest venue Shin Godzilla is playing to you! Make sure you type in your zip code or city/state to see how close the King of the Monsters will be playing in your city.
And if you don't see a location near you, don't fret just yet. Funimation's site explicitly says, "Don't see a screening in your city? More theaters will be added soon—check back again later!"
