Due to Kong: Skull Island's recent rescheduling of its production start date from this fall towards the end of the year which resulted in the release date delay, both Michael Keaton (Birdman) and J.K. Simmons (Terminator: Genisys) have reportedly left the movie due to scheduling conflicts with other projects. Avengers and Thor:The Dark World star British actor Tom Hiddleston is still attached as the movies lead, with the movie reported to be set in 1971 Detroit as well as on the infamous prehistoric island of the movies title.
