Finally - we're getting an official Godzilla LEGO set! Toho have given their stamp of approval and LEGO have announced on their Lego Ideas blog that they are moving forward with producing an entire set based on fan-creations which received over 10,000 votes! Currently there are 11 fan created ideas in development for the official Godzilla LEGO set, one which got approval is a set created by Matthew Esposito:

While this lego set above is more reminiscent of Legendary's Monsterverse Godzilla variation, there are other Godzilla LEGO ideas on the official site which are nearing the 10,000 votes mark - one of which being this Godzilla Minus One kit which currently sits at 9,873 votes at the time of writing this, with 216 days left to reach 10k!

It's important to note that while these sets are in the running, they're not necessarily indicative of what the final product will look like. As LEGO reveals more about their upcoming official Godzilla LEGO sets, we'll be sure to keep you posted!
