Kong battles a giant Skullcrawler in early preview for Kong: Skull Island Art Book!

Titan Comics recently published an early preview for the upcoming Making of and The Art of Kong: Skull Island books! The preview itself showcased a few pages from the Art Book which include various shots of King Kong wrecking helicopters and one particular image showcasing Kong battling a massive Skullcrawler!

A scan of the advertisement has made its way online, thanks to Kaiju Groupie on Twitter.

Check out the scans close up, unfortunately we do not have a higher quality scan to share at the moment, however once one becomes available to us, we will be sure to update this post.

This seems to confirm fan speculation that Kong will battle a giant Skullcrawler at some point in the film - likely near the film's climax.

If anyone has a high resolution scan of this, we would love to share it. Feel free to add it in the comments below or send it to us through personal message here on Scified or through email!

Thanks to Matt for the heads up!

You know, I always thought that those Skullcrawlers' tails were a bit long. Now we know why: it's a combination of the two-legged lizard and giant snake from previous Kong films. Sneaky sneaky, Legendary!

CHRIS PICARD - How very neat! I wonder how much of a challenge the giant skull crawler will be for Kong? This is extremely compelling! :)

I would have to say that Tyrannosaurus/Vastosaurus is not a lizard at all! Dinosaurs are not lizards, that would be like saying that Kangaroos are a type of rabbit.
