Godzilla isn't the only one doing a countdown on Twitter. The official Gamera -Rebirth- Twitter has announced the fourth kaiju in the upcoming anime series. The monstrous, knife monster Guiron will be returning for the first time since his last stock footage appearance in Gamera: Super Monster (1980). Guiron first appeared in 1969's Gamera vs. Guiron.
There's now only one more kaiju left to be announced. The lineup of Gamera - Rebirth- now includes, Gyaos, Zigra, Jiger, Guiron and, of course, the title character himself.

Hiroyuki Seshita returns to the kaiju genre as the lead director of Gamera's revival in the upcoming anime series. Seshita, a long time Godzilla fan, was one of the co-directors on Polygon's Anime Godzilla Trilogy. With him comes a host of writers, including Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan), Tetsua Yamada (Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle) and Kenta Ihara (Ajin). Kan Takahama will design the monsters, having previously worked on the acclaimed Shinya Tsukamoto's Tetsuo II. The voice cast includes Hisako Kanemoto (Atra from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Hashibira from Demon Slayer), Aki Toyosaki (Young Teoni from Demon Slayer) and Subaru Kimura (Takeshi Goda from Doraemon).
The six episode series will stream on Netflix sometime this year. An exact release date has yet to be confirmed.
