Set construction for Godzilla vs. Kong (2020) - under the working title APEX - has been spotted in Hawaii! What looks to be the deck of a large ship is being built at the Kalaeloa Airport. Many scenes for Kong: Skull Island were filmed at this same airport when that film was in production as well.

Godzilla vs. Kong will also be utilizing parts of Kalaeloa Studio, an old military compound turned movie studio. Our friends at Reel News Hawaii speculate they're using this compound to construct and store movie props for Godzilla vs. Kong.
Principal photography for Godzilla vs. Kong has not yet begun but is scheduled to begin within 4 days. Currently, film crews are merely preparing for October's shoots. As new photos and information surface we'll be keeping you updated!
