Cameras are scheduled to start rolling on Takashi Yamazaki's Godzilla Minus One sequel this August, according to a fresh recruitment notice spotted online from the Agency for Cultural Affairs film staff training project!
Filming is expected to run from August 2025 and conclude by the end of the year with an estimated release date landing the Godzilla Minus One sequel in theaters in the late Fall or Winter of 2026!
Based on everything we know so far, the upcoming sequel to Takashi Yamazaki's award-winning Toho Godzilla feature will be a direct sequel and will also be introducing new Monsters! Beyond that, official plot details remain a secret for now.
