Legendary Comics have teamed up with Godzilla 2014 screenwriter Max Borenstein and his cousin Greg Borenstein to create a prequel comic series to Gareth Edwards' Godzilla (2014) film. Much like the "Pcific Rim: Tales From Year Zero" comic Legendary put out, leading up to Pacific Rim's release last year. This comic is entitled Godzilla: Awakening and helps explain some of the events which occur prior to those which take place in the film. With the comic being released on May 13th, a few preview pages have made their way online, shedding some light on the comic and film's backstory. Below are the previewed panels, courtesy of Tumblr user, superfigma-x-art.
