Monsters who I want
Anguirus: he could be frozen in ice, or asleep underneath the earth somewhere. He would be a perfect fit.
Baragon: Brooks from K:SI championed a hollow earth theory. Baragon fits with the theme of the movies.
Kumonga: If he lives underground, its possible.
Chapters 3-5 coming tomorrow. Stay tuned. Business is about to pick up quick.
I liked this chapter.
Thanks you guys!
All the writers and editors need to do is see how Honda, Fukuda and their teams did it in the 1960s. They balanced it perfectly for fully engaging and satisfying climaxes that respected both the monster and human arcs.

Well as long they don't do it to much I guess.
Hype for next chapter! This is gonna be the The End of Godzilla fanfictions!
Not bad, HugeBen.
I think they should slow and deep down the roar a little, it would sound intimidating!
I'm sure it will be upgraded alongside the 2014 roar being reused. I have no real issue with the 2014 roar, but if they feel the need to add more to it I'm good with that as well.
I'm fine with cutting from the fight to the characters as long as it's done like it was in the early Showa movies--With the characters doing something important and relevant to the story, but not usurping the climactic showdown.
Like it or not, the movie still needs characters doing something noteworthy during the climax.
Given how the beam struggle WAS seen in those cave paintings, the climax HAS TO BE a beam struggle. IT HAS TO BE!
Heavily agree with TherizinoRex
I'm hoping it would, they could definitely fine tune the roar more to sound like how Godzilla always has.

And oh yeah focus on the fight! just the fight! don't cut to human characters or military stuff, just focus on the fight!
^^
Also make the fight epic and emotional.
I think Ghidorah should fight both Mothra and Rodan first and eventually defeated(not killed) both of them in the fight and as Ghidorah is about to kill both Mothra and Rodan, Godzilla then makes an epic entrance to the battle and roars at Ghidorah which gained Ghidorah's attention towards Godzilla, both monsters then started roaring each other and then the movie cuts to Ishiro Serizawa watching both monsters roaring from far away distance and says "Let Them Fight" and then both monsters charges towards each other and then they clash!
And the fight needs to be destructive!, like make them destory many buildings!, Let the audience see what these monsters are capable of!

I think the Legendary roar might change a bit but we'll see.
There were rumors circulating before shooting that the film would utilize slightly more classic roars. It seemed like a fairly baseless rumor, but I'm sure the word "classic" will give it life again.
I think "classic" is just referring to the 2014's regular roar.
Well, ummmm........ nothing here right now, but I'll bite I guess.
My guess is that you're talking about the MonsterVerse, and how Godzilla and King Ghidorah will measure up to each other. Given that they've tussled in the past, I'm inclined to speculate that, at least before their next meeting in the present, they were relative equals in terms of power.
It may be my own bias in always making the two equal in sheer strength in my own writing, but I think the same should hold true for their next battle. Granted, I think Godzilla should still be at a disadvantage, but not because he isn't as strong as King Ghidorah.
We saw that Godzilla was still trumped by the two Hokmutos despite them being individually inferior in strength compared to him thanks to their teamwork. Well, perhaps King Ghidorah could be an equal in raw power but also have increased mobility thanks to flight and a more unpredictable attack pattern that makes more effective use of his strength against Godzilla.

Maybe a mix of both?
I'm actually very interested in the fact that it says classic roar for Godzilla. Does that mean that he'll have the legendary roar and a more classic Godzilla roar?
Yeah yeah yeah, Gman, we're just sheeple and whatnot.
So anyways, what kind of moth is that above? Also, are there any moths that resemble the cave paintings from Kong: Skull Island?
Gowhaletours,
It's no use at this point. People are caught in the hype and will grasp at anything to tide them over. If they want to gobble it up, let'em gobble it.
@TheTruthIsOutThere: will she have her blue eyes and regular coloring?
I noticed that in the list.. it's King Ghidora and not just Ghidora.. like in the original use of his name.. circa Ghidora : the Three headed monster. My question is this.. will he be worshiped much in the way that Kong is.. or Mothra.. for that matter. Will he be a legend of mythology.. aka.. three headed hydra ? To call him King in this movie.. implies that there would be more than one.. and someone (human) would have given him that title by virtue of his dominance over other creatures. I think they're gonna have a big backdrop story for him. I hope that mothra has a short stay in the film.. cuz I'm not to crazy about the whole fairy angle as it is. Besides.. TOHO already did 3 movies in addition to the G franchise.. about mothra.. and the last one was about ghidorah. So I would have been happy to have seen updated Megalon or an updated Biollante. In my humble opinion.

Just like how Ghidorah is an abbreviation of King Ghidorah.
I think Zilla was just an abbreviation....
@TheTruthIsOutThere
same, I can't wait!
I should make a thread on the above.
I was pleased to hear Dougherty was wanting the monsters to all really sound like they were living breathing animals, complete with unique vocalizations, expect a lot more personality this time go round for the monsters
"oh no, plz no!, I don't need to see Godzilla talk or dance again."
He never spoke in the Japanese films. And why does "moving away from the seriousness" of the 2014 film automatically mean anything like that? We've pretty much known there will be a tonal shift thanks to how bonkers Skull Island was.
You have nothing to worry about, their roars will be epic
And oh yea I forgot, you could see Shin Goji in the backround of the left picture.

maybe classic Godzilla 2014 roar? well idk.
