As dubious as the validity of this news is, I would like it. I mean it makes sense that the black market would take advantage of this whole new resource with monster corpses.
This does give a bit more credibility to that terrible 4chan "leak" a little while back. I hope that it's not actually true.
I do like the shift to Titans. Like MUTO is the name given to monsters by federal/government agents while Titan is the media/public name.
I can only guess that Legendary would have a post credit scene to start a set up for GVK in 2020. That would be my only guess for a reason to have a post credit scene in G2
I am wondering how Kong would show up on this credit scene. I don't think that they will show Godzilla and Kong both, because that will probably be shown in the actual movie. Maybe some data files of skull island or something. Anyway i am excited about this.

Good, because I was wondering if the term ”muto” was going to be used for every monster and that the 2014 monsters would get their own name eventually. I am actually oké with the name ”Titans” (although the name ”kaiju” would also be nice to see join the monsterverse).

In my opinion, Terrorism is an interesting idea to have kaiju movies. Seeing as terrorists are the closest things that the real world has to giant monsters, seeing as they both cause a lot of destruction and death. Especially with terrorism being so big at the moment, I think this could be interesting. Maybe the movie is trying to have the human characters represent the human characters. I am like Dr. Serizawa will represent Godzilla and the terrorists will represent King Ghidorah. This could give a great metaphor for how are the real monsters.
So... Monarch is going to be turned into a G.I. Joe monster fighting force to stop not only monsters but terrorists as well? haha
Interesting plot point I guess. So TITANS are now the new term for MUTO's? I guess that will be interesting. Maybe its a new term for Monsters that have been in Monarchs files so long?
I like Spacegodzilla, but he is not really popular enough to be brought back.
I think King Ghidorah is being way over used at the moment. With Legendary bringing King Ghidorah, Mothra and Rodan back in the frame I think Toho could have went another route with a villain in the 3rd movie. I mean, there are plenty of other Toho kaiju's that would be cool to see fight Godzilla Earth.
But I must admit, seeing a 1000ft+ tall King Ghidorah would be fascinating to see. I mean the wing span alone on that thing would be enormous! Truly terrifying to see in an anime movie.
I know right. Toho keeps sticking to the same monsters in their movies. I mean with King Ghidorah being teased a lot recently, Mothra being basically confirmed and MechaGodzilla already being part of the plot of the 2nd movie, there should be more underused classic monsters in these movies. I know the prequel novel features a lot of those monsters, but it would have been nice to see them onscreen than just in a book.
Also I think that spacegodzilla could have been a great Alternative for King Ghidorah as the final monster in the trilogy. Do you guys agree with that or are you happy to see King Ghidorah back in a Japanese movie after 14 years.
I am very surprised that Biollante wasn't more involved. Since the Servum are part of the ecosystem on the planet, you would think some kind of Godzillian plant monster would be seen as well by now. Out of all the heisei kaiju's Biollante is the most interesting and complex kaiju's in the series. Also one of my favorite as well.
I was hoping the Anime trilogy would use lesser used Kaijus.
I can definitely do Biollante. Going from an overlooked kaiju to a fan favorite. biollante does need some adjustments to his origin especially the human part of her, but I think I can work with that. Thanks, guys for the suggestion.
Btw, do you guys think that Biollante would have been such a good villain for the anime trilogy? He is in the prequel novel briefly, but she deserved way more than she got. She would have worked very well with the ”plants taking back the earth” theme these movies have.
Godzilla: hey people looking at this topic. I just adopted a Velociraptor
Godzilla: Destruction: Godzilla ends up arriving in Tokyo after the events of Godzilla Vs Kong (If Godzilla survives in that film) Monarch ends up sending out their two best robots Jet Jaguar and Gigan. However, Megalon ends up showing up and it ends up being in all-out free for all. Gigan shoots his fire breath (from Godzilla the Arcade Game) at Megalon as Godzilla wrestles Jet Jaguar to the ground. Godzilla fires his atomic breath at Gigan right before Jet Jaguar picks him up, flies into the air, and drops him on the ground. Gigan ends up killing Megalon and Godzilla retreats back into the ocean.
Mechagodzilla: S.O.S. film idea: after the events of Gigan 2, Mechagodzilla is revealed to still be online....but something has changed. His eyes now glow a fierce red color as he lays in Antarctica. Meanwhile the extremist group called Kiryu finds Mechagodzilla's remains and rebuild him. They then send him to Beijing, where he goes on a rampage. He fires an electricity beam at the CCTV Headquarters destroying it. King Kong ends up being brought over by Monarch to combat the rampaging machine due to the fact that Gigan and Jet Jaguar are still under repairs. King Kong ends up picking a couple of cars and throwing them at the mechanical beast. Unphased by the attack, Mechagodzilla's arm revolves 180 degrees backwards revealing a drill. He tries to drill into Kong's arm but Kong just dodges it. Kong ends up ripping Mechagodzilla's head off only to see that the mechanical beast is still alive. Kong ends up ripping Mechagodzilla's drill arm off and using it to stab Mechagodzilla in the chest which kills him. Post credits scene shows Megalon waking up in the ocean.
Forgot to mention in my Gigan 2 idea jet jaguar is in the final battle and survives.
Copy of my Gigan solo film idea: This is my idea for what a Solo Gigan film in the monsterverse could be like: Stock footage from when Godzilla killed the Male Muto plays. Cut to 10 years later where it shows Monarch examining the body. Monarch finds out by listening to its heartbeat that the Muto is still alive, but barely and is comatose. Monarch starts making some modifications to turn it into an anti kaiju weapon. they code name the project "Project: Gigan." cut to 5 years later and they have pretty much finished modifying the Muto. A new kaiju emerges from Loch ness known as Titanosaurus. Monarch sees this as an opportunity to test their new weapon. They bring Gigan to the area and the two monsters battle it out. but something happens during the fight... Titanosaurus breaks the device Monarch used to control Gigan and he goes haywire. he fires a laser beam at Titanosaurus and lets out a blood curdling roar. Gigan cuts Titanosaurus' head off with his Claw and starts rampaging through Ireland. He cuts a building in half and fires his laser beam at another. Monarch end up deciding that they need to fight fire with fire and start working on a super weapon to destroy him. They dub this weapon "the Oxygen Destroyer" and plan to lure Gigan to sea faraway and detonate it. they end up luring him by having the navy provoke him. the plan works and Gigan ends up following the ships only to destroy nearly all of them. the last ship is barely dodging Gigan's laser beam or his hook hands until finally they lure him far enough away and detonate the Bomb decaying all life currently in close proximity into skeletons. Gigan was finally killed, but at the cost of nearly half a city, several military ships, and millions of lifeforms in the ocean depths. Destroyah also makes an appearance after the end credits.
Gigan 2 idea (sequel to Gigan solo film idea I made in this forum http://www.godzilla-movies.com/topic/47648): It has been a few years since the incident in Ireland. Gigan's skeletal remains lay beneath the ocean depths. Monarch has since improved their ideas from before by creating two new robots that wont malfunction: Mechagodzilla (built from the skeleton seen at the beginning of Godzilla 2014) and Jet Jaguar (a robot designed with A.I. that allows it to reprogram itself in situations). Monarch has recently received news of a new threat in Antarctica. This threat is the monster known as Bagan. Monarch sends out both robots to stop him but Mechagodzilla gets ripped to shreds and Bagan fires a plasma beam at Jet Jaguar forcing him to retreat. Monarch decides they have no other option but to rebuild Gigan from the skeleton in the ocean. Gigan, (now having chainsaws for hands instead of the hooks he had in the first Gigan movie idea I made) is sent to fight Bagan. Bagan fires a plasma beam at Gigan, but he just dodges it. Gigan fires a laser beam at Bagan who blocks it with a force field. Gigan bites Bagan's arm and Bagan roars in pain. Gigan then shoots a flamethrower from his mouth burning Bagan. Gigan then rips up Bagan with his chainsaws before standing on his corpse and roaring victoriously. In the post credits scene, Mechagodzilla's eyes light up in a reddish color.

Also Biollante would be neat. Since you introduced Godzilla Jr., Monarch would have easy access to Godzilla cells to experiment on. Just throwing out ideas.
I think maybe having Ebirah or Kumonga would be fun to do. I like how Ebirah was tied to the terrorist organization "The Red Bamboo" through the nuclear fallout from there heavy water factory. That's why Ebirah and the Condor are so big.
Kumonga can be easily explained but Im sure you can think of something more flashy. Like how Mothra is introduced. Maybe Kumonga is Mothra's Joker per say. They are the God(Mothra) and Devil(Kumonga) version for Mothra's(possible) desciple's. Who hasn't wanted to see those 2 kaiju fight?

Thanks. I really wanted to integrate those bones into the story, because as of right now that is the only other Godzilla (besides the current Godzilla) that we know about and it would just connect it to 2014 perfectly. It were just 2 puzzle pieces that fitted together perfectly.
And yeah I have to say that I took a bit to much from the Heisei versions origin than I should have, but there was only so much I could do with this idea. I thought the idea of Godzilla Jr for a while growing up with humans would tie in the human and the monster story of the movie perfectly, which I think most people find important in these kinds of movies.
I do need some help for the next topic because I have no idea what monster to do it about. Do you guys have any suggestions for a monster (Godzilla related or not) that you guys would like to see get a modern and believable version of?
I like how you introduced the Godzilla Jr. with the bones of the dead Godzilla in 1999. The site seems to be ground zero in a lot of the topics. I like it in a way.
But the rest seems like the same premise of Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2(1993). But hey, its still fun.
It was a decent movie by itself but quite different from the original movies. As a popcorn flick, I have seen worse. I watched it about 6 months ago and it was just meh. Doubt I will watch again though.
There should be a whole forum dedicated to that topic. Who agrees with me on this?
I'd rather have Toho stick to one design, maybe they can tweak the design a little every new movie.

Oh yeah that's a good point. I want to get into figure collecting myself, and I would absolutely buy new designs for subsequent movies.
I mean, Toho makes a lot of money on the constant design changes on Godzilla merchandise alone. So I can see them seeing cash cow on slightly changing Godzilla from film to film. I think they will.

Yeah, I personally don’t mind the changes. I just hope that if they stick with a design, with or without minor tweaks, it’s something we can love lol. For instance, I don’t hate Shin-Goji, but for something like a universe, maybe a mix of Heisei/legendary Heisei/millennium. Heck, I dunno lol
