We should add a creative element to the game as well, making our own giant monsters, you could finally make your dream of beating up Godzilla as a giant chicken come true!! Or you could make Voltron fight mecha-Godzilla! No Godzilla game has ever had a creative element like that. We need a fight mode, and a aliens vs humans battlefield 1 like mode and you could call down ali monsters and villain monsters depending on what team you were on. And the classic fight mode, we should also have a monster island freerome area too!
I want a Open World Godzilla game where you can destroy city’s and fight kaiju. I also want to have the option to drive around in a tank or fly a helicopter and play as a human. and I want good graphics and good controls. You should be able to choose between different kaijus to play as. You should also be able to play online and play spit screen with your friend. And it should exist both on PS4,Xbox one and computer both windows and Mac but most importantly PS4. And when the game has been out for a month or a half month a Kong:skull island dlc with new playable characters with the star of the dlc KONG. That would be the best Godzilla game ever!
We need a campaign that includes a human side and a Godzilla side so you can play both rolls, it also needs a good Super Smash Bros like element, so we can have split screen battles as well as multiplayer fights ranging from a 1v1 to a 4 monster all out brawl Mabye even add teams so there could be 2v2 and we should include a wide rage of new monsters Gamera,King Kong,Ultra-man and more classic monster and we should also have a game mode witch involves humans going up against a monster, so we can have check points and the person who plays Godzilla or any other monsters has to get to every checkpoint before time runs out or he is stopped by the humans and mankind will be able to get in tanks jets and more, and humans can get special power ups allowing them to take control of an ali monster like mecha-Godzilla. Kinda like the behemoths in battlefield 1. We can also have battles between aliens and humans and it could be like battlefield 1 where the aliens can call in villain monsters like gigan and humans could call in mothra. And it could be like call of duty but with giant monsters.
Godzilla battle for the earth 1992 was on tv and was intrigued the moment I saw him blow atomic breath!
All we need is a true successor to Godzilla: Save the Earth. Someone HAS to be smart enough to make this happen in the gaming industry.

I would prefer Brooks be the character. As much as I like Charles Dance, making Conrad a villain doesn't really make sense.
^Rumor has it Brooks from Skull Island will be in it--Unless Conrad has gone full villain and "Jonah" is a cover for some reason.
KaijuWorld I am not sure, but there was a King Kong game on PS2 that played like that and it was pretty good.
Wasn't their a game like that were you play as the human last year? I remember a game like that with all sorts of kaiju from the Godzilla, Mothra, Gamera, and Ultraman series.
What about a game where you play as a human? It is up to you to work things out before Godzilla decimates everything. Depending on how you do, the wrath level of Godzilla would change. Maybe here and there things could switch so you play as Godzilla and choose to rage on everything or zero in on a specific target.

Edit: Hang on a minute, are we sure that Charles Dance isn't playing older James Conrad? Because Mike D. said that one of the characters in K:SI would an appearance in the upcoming movie.

I have to agree with that. The Godzilla franchise is known for its monsters and the fights and I don't think that something like a beat-em-up game would fit the overall feeling of the Godzilla franchise. There could be a gamemode like a beat-em-up game though.
Assuming this is accurate, I can definitely see Jonah Alan (Charles Dance's character) being the overarching villain for both Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong, and the one responsible for pitting Godzilla and Kong against each other. That's probably what this post-credits scene will tie into.
I think it would have to be a fighter but it could have a small single player story line to unlock all the characters. The roster should be a good size that includes monsters from different eras. Oh, and it should include online multiplayer so your not stuck fighting COMP's or only fighting the occasional friend. For the roster different stats should be attached to different monsters as well as different abilities. There could be different game modes such as destroy the other monsters, destroy as much of the city as you can, etc.
Don't do a fighter. We have loads of those already.
Give me something new. A Beat-em-up would be great. Like Final Fight but with Kaiju.
Or a musou-style game.
Also don't try to be realistic. Slow moving characters =/= fun.
Essentially just bring back the mechanics of the first couple Atari fighting games (but updated, smoothed out and streamlined of course), Save the Earth in particular, combine it with the excellent movie accuracy of the recent PS4 game, and include a roster with kaiju from all across every era.
I also wouldn’t mind a side facing Mortal Kombat style entry, but I do believe whatever it is would need to be a straight up fighting game.
I don't think I've ever seen Godzilla's eyes glow when shooting an Atomic Ray, but it looks awesome.
These are some great photos. But that second picture from the top, at the top center of the picture it looks to be an outline of Big G! Not sure if it's supposed to be Godzilla or if it's a outline of him on some kind of underwater vessel.
The game could be really good if it was sort of like Peter Jackson's King Kong game way back on PS2.
I agree also i think it should be for Xbox one and there should be one with all established stats such as strengths and weaknesses. and very detailed characters like in the ps4 Godzilla game but better with more work put into it and a good story and traditional controller gameplay and maybe even decisions to make like choosing to destroy or to protect also have customization options for height considering godzilla's size has ranged from 50 meters to 100+ meters so you can be as big as you want and an idea i would have for this is to have the monsterverse put in to a game with Canon abilities and have you pick a M.U.T.O. Or Titan to play as and battle for supremacy and have the main part of the game have Godzilla Rodan Mothra and King Ghidorah and as dlc characters have Kong The male and female M.U.T.O.'s and skull crawlers and a couple surprise Monsterverse appearances. And make it open world and you battle for the throne and you can choose to rule with mercy or rule with mass extinction and I would have this game made an Xbox one exclusive and I wish I was a video game designer so this dream could come true.

I am still planning on making a full topic based on this exact question and try to create a (realistic) dream kaiju game, though it still needs some work.
Personally, I think the kaiju should have skins and different appearances so you can make that kaiju your own. For example showa/millennium Gigan skins, the many versions of Godzilla as skins, etc.

Well sorta a weird story how I became a Godzilla fan, I always heard the name, due to my father being a construction worker and referencing some house he would work on as “Godzilla-sized!” And it always stuck with me. I always knew he was a dinosaur of some kind, a T-Rex and Stegosaurus hybrid I thought. So one day while me and my family were grocery shopping I found a cheap toy dinosaur and named it Godzilla. I few days later I watched my first Godzilla movie. “Godzilla vs. megaguirus”. And I can still remember walking into a K-Mart and finding my first official Godzilla toy (a Bandai Godzilla 2001)

I liked the P4 Godzilla game. They should give us more Godzilla games like Ps4 with RPG elements from games like Zelda. Leveling up Godzilla and the multiple Godzillas and monsters to unlock was cool and I liked how Godzilla monitors the humans communications in that one. NES Monster of monsters ruled (Godzilla 2 nes blows because you have to fight Godzilla) Props to gamegear Godzilla! Generations 1&2 kicked ass, destroy all monsters melee was the game back in the day! Save the earth had awesome side levels and Godzilla unleashed just Dominated like Domination for game boy advance. it was sweet to be able to pick your battles in Unleashed, I hate going up against Dragon kaiju. Godzilla for game boy both games were ok. One was a puzzle game and I had a problem fighting some of the bosses in the jp gb game like Godzilla jr. Why would they make you fight jr? Shin totally trashed Godzilla way worst than 98. Notzilla. No way humans could ever win against a real Godzilla and I'll say the same thing I told Namco when I found out that our Godzilla was the final boss for the p3/4 Godzilla... I don't want to fight Godzilla, I want to be him. However I am no shin. I am Godzilla 2000, Heisei and Showa! Invincible! The oxygen destroyer failed against me. Ask Perry Mason and Godzilla vs Megagilas. Any chopper going up a real Godzilla is toast. Godzilla unleashed for Wii is the best Godzilla game ever in my opinion but I did like how the ps4 fights played better. if I didn't want to fight a monster i could just stomp a city and join them. Space Godzilla was the final boss. They try to make you fight him. BUMMER. anyway go go Godzilla 2000! That's how Godzilla should be. Turbo Duo and 2 snes Godzilla games were the high life in the 90s. Check out King of the monsters SNES for a beautiful Godzilla like game, Dinosaur God Geon rules and he returns as Super Geon in KOTM 2 the next thing which is by far the BEST GAME EVER!!!! SNES KING OF THE MONSTERS 2 WILL ALWAYS BE THE NEXT THING! PRAISE GODZILLA AND SUPER GEON!

(10) Classic Godzilla (1954). The one that started it all, have to give respect where respect is due.
(9) Godzilla Earth (2017) A drastic revision, a god-like being of raw power. Bold and daring with a unique aesthetic.
(8) Rodan. A classic ally of Godzilla. Simple, but effective design. Has a decent solo movie and is quite powerful.
(7) Showa Mechagodzilla (1973). Scary foe of Godzilla. Looks like a killer robot from a 1950's space film.
(6) King Ghidorah/Monster Zero/Ghidrah. Classic arch-enemy of Godzilla. Can't wait to see him in Godzilla:King of the Monsters (2019)
(5) Showa Godzilla (1960's-1970's). A solid defender of Earth, friend to the children.
(4) Gigan. One of Godzilla's strangest foes. Unique and should be in more Godzilla films.
(3) Heisei Godzilla (1980's and 1990's). One of the most powerful versions of Godzilla, a real force of destruction.
(2) Godzilla 2000. Not sure if this one should be called Millennium Godzilla but all of the Millenium Godzilla looks somewhat different from each other but the purple spikes and twisted scales look great.
(1) Heisei Mechagodzilla. Somewhat heretical to not have the King on the top of the list but ever since I saw Godzilla vs Mechgodzilla II as a kid I loved the updated version of Mechagodzilla and loved playing as him in Destroy All Monsters Melee for Gamecube. Therefore, he is my top pick.
Honorable Mention : Kiryu, (not a bad version of Mechagodzilla just not as good as Godzilla himself), King Kong (technically not TOHO except for King Kong Escapes) and Mothra.
Supposedly at the end there are supposed to be several monsters bowing to Godzilla, including a giant Wooly Mammoth. Don't have the source for that but read it elsewhere and doesn't sound too far-fetched.
Hopefully now that there is less than a year there will be some new bluray (hopefully remastered) releases of the classic 70's godzilla movies or a 4K of the new one.
