That sucks that everyone is against Mechagodzilla. I honestly thought that it could be used as some sort of defense system when monsters like Godzilla attack. But then again, everyone does have their opinion, and I respect that.
Also Gorosaurus, Baragon, Megaguirus, Hedorah, and Kamacuras would NOT work in my opinion.

I have no insider knowledge whether it was simply cost cutting or laziness in general that's hurt the line, but either way it's just evident in the final product. The 2014 release for the make MUTO was clearly just a blown up version of the smaller playset figure, and most of the figures released since have just been reissues of old stock. The only figure I got really excited about which had good sculpt work and was a worthy addition to the line was the Biollante that came out last year, great little figure for the price point. Otherwise the anime figures were ok, and the Anime Mechagodzilla did look great but it was part of their "Master Detail" line which so far has exactly one figure in it.
If I had to guess Bandai is probably hoping more fans are going to put their money behind the Monsterarts line and hasn't been putting their full resources into the vinyl series, assuming the die hard collectors will default to the higher quality Monsterarts, but that's only my assumption. I just know I can't afford to drop what would be between $400-$500 for the full KOTM series of Monsterarts when I can grab great looking pieces from NECA for less than half of that for the whole cast.

Honestly, I don't know a specific kaiju that I wouldn't want except for the obvious ones like Gabara.
The MonsterVerse is a fictitious world. If a filmmaker/screenwriter wants to make it happen, then they can do so for any other monster to appear.
As for the topic: none. I would be more than welcoming to see any other monster.
I think it's the world that the Monsterverse is set in.
It's basically our real world, so the idea of a Mechagodzilla legitimately built solely by Human hands is unrealistic on paper and doesn't jive with the thematic worldbuilding. Contrary to popular belief, simply doing things for the fun of it isn't always gonna pan out.
One ridiculous premise doesn't necessarily imply another; we suspend our disbelief for giant monsters, but that's because the creators went to great lengths to make them blend into an otherwise mundane universe.
For some reason the idea of having MechaGoji in the Monsterverse just irks me. Dunno why

Calling something out as BS (that isn't even yours to begin with) isn't "hating". I was simply calling out your error. You might want to consider that some people like Chris or myself or Ben, and certainly some others I can mention either on other forums or Twitter *coughcough*, are privy to some things you're not aware of.

About the website being clickbait, I only watched the video that said that today, and I mainly said that to counter your claims of BS. I love being here, and it's a pleasure to discuss Godzilla with other fans.

You know, iv'e been following this site since the 2014 movie, and I greatly respected You, Chris, and many other members.
But thats past now. I used to respect you...but now I don't.
Listen kiddo, I warned you ahead of time that there's a lot BS floating around mixed in with the real leaks, which you conceded to--But when I call you out for some of them being false, you get offended for no reason--after being warned of this likelihood.
And then you throw out a "haters gonna hate" line, ironically, after you decide to "hate" on the site for no reason than to stir drama. (Which begs the question why you would bother coming here to begin with. A little silly, isn't it?) So yes--Haters gonna hate indeed. You've done it very well.
Just relax and accept that some of the stuff you've read is false. To be fair, a popular portion of the internet is largely falsehoods and bad rumors anyway. No one can really escape that. It's not a big deal and it's certainly not a reason to get so offended.

Screw it, I think i'll now say that one of my favorite youtubers, Dman 1954, said that you people here at Godzilla-Movies.com are clickbaiters, and the Always Sunset Godzilla figure is a fake because it's actually a modified GMK Godzilla figure.

You know what I've learned from all this? The fact that the three monsters will die just shows us that the Monsterverse will definitely end after GvK in 2020, otherwise they would stay alive for future Monsterverse movies. Just think about it. Sounds plausible, right?

Let's be honest. Given her track record, Mothra dying would be a good guess regardless of any confirmed source.
My apologies @G.H (Gman) I can be a bit of a skeptic when it comes to "spoilers" to often have I seen "full plot leaks" turn out to be utter B.S. So unless the source is vetted, I choose to remain skeptical.
@Gmkgoji buddy, chill, every movie has huge amounts of BS floating around before it comes out. Even the new season of Game of Thrones has "full plot summaries" floating around on... well mostly reddit. I don't know what your source is, and you haven't said what it is, but if it's anyone on reddit or 4chan, I would take anything they say with a grain of salt.

Mothra dying, maybe. There's the whole Mothra sacrificing herself for Godzilla rumor floating around. So maybe.

De-oxygenator, that sounds more like something a scientist would invent honestly. Oxygen destroyer is very inline with how Toho names things and doesn't sound very hard SciFi like these movies somewhat are. Also these movies seem to take a hard, super weapons bad, stance. And before anyone calls me on it, yes I know what the square cubed law has to say about giant anything. ( in regards to my comment about this being "hard SciFi")
The Godzilla nuke power up is in the trailers, just saying. Watch the first trailer again, the scene where the temple complex blows up, if you pause the frame just before it happens you can see Godzilla lying on the central point. So Nuke power up confirmed, the second one fire Godzilla (still don't like that name) is also in the trailers. So yeah, two power ups. Does he get the second one from Mothra, who knows.
Godzilla is called an alpha predator so him consuming part of Ghidorah after he kills him. Yeah sounds like something an alpha predator would do. We have evidence for cannibalism in Majungasaurus, a medium sized therapod from Madagascar. It was the alpha predator of its range. We also have evidence to suggest that Carcaradontasaurus may have prayed on other large carnivores as well. Same with pretty much every large therapod dinosaur. And if you want to look at modern day, crocadilians eat literally everything. Predator and prey alike, a large salt water crocodile isn't going to think twice.
Now all that aside, just be careful where you get your "spoilers"
P.S. Side note, anyone else notice what looks like a fireball coming out of the clouds when Rodan is rolling? Seems completely detached from what's going on in the scene. Sorry, squirrel moment.
^You could say the same about the art for Godzilla's design in the first movie:
Sometimes concept artists just go wild so they can take elements they like from each design and eventually reach a conclusion the works best for the movie and is true to the initial design. It doesn't mean they were ever expecting these designs to be used--It's like doodling. They're merely putting out a bunch of stuff they know won't make it to the final movie just to get the creative juices flowing.
It's no different with Rodan.
The majority of everything you've listed has been floating around since mid-last year and if you look hard enough you'll know what's true and false.

YukisSpecial But still, considering how iconic and basic Rodan's design is, it should've been easy to just stick with what they chose for the final design in the first place. Yet, for some strange reason, they didn't, and they only changed it to his final design later when it should've stayed like that the whole time. In fact, when I saw his design in the post-credits scene of Kong: Skull Island, I thought that all they had to do was change the head and, boom, final design. Yet they didn't. It was just so weird for me.

Not everything he's said is false. It's just mixed in with some BS--I just don't think he's aware of which is which.
Wow... This game was short lived. I only played it a handful of times. As I recall, it wasn't all that functional. Either that or I simply had a slow computer at the time.
Okay I had to log in to comment on this. As interesting as the whole Rodan bowing to Ghidorah bit would be, I'd be willing to bet that's not going to happen in the film. Also Godzilla getting the ability to produce nuclear pulses from his feet is all just way to Toho and campy for what legendary is doing with the franchise. Cool ideas for a fanfic you've got there. But I really doubt that's going to make it into the film.
Dougherty said at the Tokyo panel he attended for the movie that the concept art was not reflective of most aspects of the movie, and specifically that Rodan would NOT have the feather-like ends on his wings, that was early design work. Which is fine by me, the design they settled on is a perfect translation of classic 50s Rodan to the modern world.

For the connection of Jurassic World to Godzilla: If the dinosaurs can't even survive a single volcano, then what makes you think they could survive an Earth full of giant monsters that are essentially living, breathing, radioactive natural disasters that can move wherever they please? Same thing for the connection of Jurassic World to Pacific Rim.
For the connection of Pacific Rim to Godzilla: The Jaegers couldn't even handle the kaiju coming from the breach that much, so what chance would they have against that and an Earth full of native kaiju, with both appearing at the same time?
Sorry, but I think it's safe to say that they are not connected in any way.
Godzilla looks okay (at best), and King Ghidorah just looks like a generic dragon (I expected more with the latter.), but what happened to Rodan and Mothra? Mothra looks like she's diseased with something that gave her discoloration while adding black and while also misshaping her body and head, and Rodan looks like someone tried to mix the Showa and Millenium designs together, but it failed miserably because they messed up on the head and wings and they didn't go back to fix it.
I don't think there would be, especially after the negative criticism the film got at the time. But you (we, actually [the rest of the website users]) could try.
I honestly want all of the toho kaiju in the monsterverse.
I will always want Mechagodzilla being in the Monsterverse. I know it is an outlandish idea and that it is campy, but giant mechas have been part of the kaiju genre for centuries. when you are making a shared universe with kaiju you NEED giant mechas. It just needs time to set them up and properly explain the reason for mechas in a realistic way for them to work, but there are a lot of talented writers in Hollywood how can possibly do it.
The same could basically be said about Gigan and we all know that we need more of him in any way, shape or form.
As for other kaiju, I am so confident that if there is going to be a Godzilla 3 and they could use an existing Toho kaiju as the villain, it would have to be Biollante. I have already made a topic on why, but I won't repeat myself here.
Anguirus is almost a must-have. He is basically the number 6 of Toho's top 5 even though, when you think about it, he hasn't been in a lot of movies. With his easy to explain origin, already realistic design and having a clear role in the Godzilla franchise, Anguirus would just be perfect for the Monsterverse.
Godzilla JR./Minilla would also be a great opportunity for America to redeem themselves after the knocked Jurrasic park raptors from the 1998 movie and overall could give Godzilla more character as a father figure.
