This is awesome! If we can get our World Of Godzilla, that has me PSYCHED!
This what i'd want to see.
After King Ghidorah "disables" the storm around Skull Island, Godzilla realises that Kong exists, and does not bring any purpose to balance the earth, and poses a threat to him. MONARCH tracks Godzilla, and sees him going to Skull Island. They follow him there and see Godzilla and Kong's first battle. Godzilla causes a flood on Skull Island, which leaves Kong at a disadvantage. He ends the fight with a blast of atomic breath to Kong's leg, almost crippling him and forcing him to flee. the human villain wants to exterminate all titans, especially Godzilla and Kong. He uses Ghidorah's severed head and one of Godzilla's scales to create a new, stronger variant of godzilla. The monster has one long, serpent-like head, Two tails, a horn on its head (akin to Bagan), a gigantic pair of wings and golden scales. It is still young, and is only 50 ft tall.
5 year time-jump
Kong heads towards another island; Odo Island. He discovers that Godzilla lives there. Godzilla gets pissed, and rightfully so. This leads to their second battle, where a Mothra larva joins the fray. Kong severely wounds the larva, and rips off one of Godzilla's dorsal plates. he stabs Godzilla in the gills with it, and he falls unconscious under the sea.
with no Godzilla, the world enters chaos. Kong cannot hold back the invading Titans. A fight between Kong and a lizard-like Titan with four sets of Wings is shown. Kong is severely injured during the battle, and the lizard kaiju heads for Tokyo. When all hope seems lost, Godzilla surfaces. He grabs it by one of its wings and tears them off, one by one. He kills the creature by throwing it around and crushing its head with his foot. Kong charges at godzilla, but Godzilla is ready for him. he tackles Kong, leaving him winded. He charges his atomic breath, but Kong knows the exact moment to dodge the beam, and does so. the human villain releases the new kaiju, dubbed "King Godzilla" Kong gets his ass handed to him by King Godzilla, and he is dropped into the sea. Godzilla puts up a better fight, but he needs Kong's help to defeat the creature. It dies when Kong stabs it with the tokyo tower, and Godzilla releases a Red Spiral ray.
Godzilla locates King Godzilla's creator, and kills him with an atomic blast. The human characters think Godzilla and Kong are done fighting. But, they aren't. Godzilla throws Kong into the water, and tries to drag him under. This fails, and Kong runs away, grabbing a building with a sharp point on top. He tries to stab Godzilla, but ends up getting bitten by Godzilla on the arm. Godzilla thrashes Kong around by the arm. Godzillas bites down on two of Kong's fingers, and he loses them. Kong grabs a chunk of a cliff, and beats godzilla over the head with it. Godzilla clobbers Kong with his tail, and drags him underwater to his doom. A blue flash of light is seen. Godzilla surfaces, and begins swimming back to Oto island.
I know the human characters aren't very developed, but i'm not very Good at writing human stories.

Yikes Rodan isn't looking too good. Ghidorah looks okay from those angles.
It's the pacing that counts for me, which in turn depends on how the film is edited. Even a short duration film will drag and feel slow and tedious if the story is no good and if it was edited poorly. Conversely, a longer film will grab your attention and keep you invested in the story if the pacing is done right and the story can keep up with the momentum.
Over 2 hrs of monster action. Hell yeah!
That's only about 10 minutes longer than the first one, possible post-credits scene included. Good. This means it's gonna be more fast-paced and action-packed, although the director has already confirmed that.
I believe so, yes. So about 2 hours of actual Godzilla action.

What inspired me most to become a fan is how Godzilla unconditionally went out of his way to battle forces that threaten the existence of humanity. Long live the King!

Gmkgoji I'm going to be honest. That line in the TV spot it's from (for me, at least) was so cringey that I thought it was something that was meant for the 1998 movie (like a lost line from the film). Lol ;)

Maybe you could make a forum discussing the writing of the Monsterverse films [i.e.: Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), and Godzilla vs. Kong (2020)] and your perspectives, positives, and negatives with the writing of each of these films.
Just as a suggestion.

So I wasn't going to post on this, but now I feel I have to. As an amateur writer I can say this, given how much has been seen in the trailers it would be very easy to come up with a 'full plot' for the movie. Also knowing that Godzilla has to survive for GvK next year does help. Let me get this out of the way, IF this is real cool but, I'm just saying take all of it with a grain of salt. The trailers have given away, a lot at this point. This being true it would be fairly simple to formulate a plot structure with just a little bit of knowledge on how story telling works. The only thing that makes me seriously doubt these things is that we don't have context for some of the scenes, the ones I can think of off the top of my head are. The object falling from the sky, Ghidorah on the mountain, and now the brief shot of a headless Ghidorah. We don't really have a context for these, so they do take some creativity to place within the plot structure.
For example, if the head goes missing early on he definitely regrows it for the fight in Boston. But how? If not, then is it a final scene of sorts showing Ghidorah fleeing to, well wherever his origin is in this universe. We also have absolutely no context for when and how the other titans wake up. So those scenes can be placed wherever someone would want, until the theatrical release anyway. I read another one of these a few months back that said they are waking up during the senate meeting and its being broadcast to them there. The mountain titan in Germany kinda seems to lend credit to that. My point in all this is just caution. There are people jumping to these grandiose claims that this is all gospel and blah blah blah. Call me a cynic all you want, until someone comes to me and can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they work for legendary or WB and hand me a script. As far as I'm concerned everything but what is in the trailers is false. Just my two cents, thanks for reading.
They are cool, and they do look cool, but at the same time (I don't even know how.), they simultaneously (I seriously have no idea how.) look super ugly when compared to the Bandai and NECA figures. But that's just my opinion.

Xenotaris My opinions have changed since my comment in Aug. 7, 2018 on the 1998 Godzilla: the Series, and I actually like it. I only said it was bad because I had never seen it before at the time, and now that I have the whole series on DvD, I actually like it (and so does my brother). And it's better than bad or good(ish). For both of us, it's actually super awesome. I'm sorry that I made the lie that it was bad on my other account, but I was just forced to say no because of G. H. (Gman)'s prescence and opinion. I hope I can be forgiven.

One of the latest TV spots shows Ghidorah missing a head in one scene. Parts of this leak (if not the whole thing) are definitely true.

As we get closer to this stuff I sort of understand that leaks become inevitable. But there was viable information regarding King of the Monsters from last year. And the fandom openly parades it around like nothing. Real or not, I haven't seen MCU fans talking casually about highly likely spoilers over the last several months.
Furthermore, allegedly, something else has recently been leaked which only escalates the incompetence--Or at least the WB hiring team. It's ludicrous.
I'll tell you G.H.(Gman), Speaking of management teams for movies, A friend of mine is telling me that there is a poster on reddit that has leaks to Avengers: Endgame and they are 80% true and not removed up to this point. Now, If they really are 80% true I don't know-and don't really care as I'm not a superhero movie fan- but it goes to show you how some people will risk their reputations for a little internet fame.
