Chapter 10: Kaiser Ghidorah
"Now look at your weapons, Mr. Stark! They are ineffective against Monster X," Serizawa retorted.
"Okay, switching to plan B. Let's see how Big G handles Monster X" Tony clenches his fists tight.
"Sir, one of Stark's truck is firing on its own" Hill stares at one of the monitors observing the chaos.
"That truck isn't firing on its own" Fury added.
"Some brave soul is firing your weapon, Stark" Coulson turned to inform the playboy millionaire.
"Who would be crazy enough to attack Mr. X here?" Tony Stark commented.
"Agent Hill, use facial scans on that driver" Fury ordered.
"Yes sir," Agent Hill types into the computer. An interface pops up on the screen and a list of names and faces popped up. Here: Unknown alias Skye. She is a hacker and a member of the Ufologists"
"Great a crazy person!" Fury face palmed.
"If we don't do something she is going to get herself killed" Hill added.
"Right: Fire starboard cannons on Monster X" Nick Fury ordered.
"Wait what about Godzilla?" asked a random technician.
"Gojira will have to wait, do you what you believe is necessary" Ishiro Serizawa turns and looks at Director Fury, "save the girl"
The helicarrier began firing a barrage of rounds at Kaiser Ghidorah. Kaiser Ghidorah turned his gaze upwards to the helicarrier. A swarm of meganula came flying at the helicarrier. "Contacts! An unknown titan species. Some sort of Dragonfly" Agent Hill read the info off her screen.
One of the meganula landed on the runway. It snarls as it crawls over the VTOL craft and jet fighter crafts. Then another meganula lands on the runway, shoving one of the aircraft off the helicarrier. A third meganula lands on the runway, shoving off two more aircraft. The helicarrier's turbines began to falter unable to support the additional weight. The aircrafts all slide off of the runway as the helicarrier falls from the sky. The three meganula leap into the air to rejoin the swarm, all following the plummeting helicarrier.
"I need someone to get those turbines back online, ASAP!" Fury barked.
"I'll do it" Tony volunteered.
"Get it done, Mr. Stark" Fury accepted.

I feel like you should continue to post here as well as post over on spacebattle. (As some viewers might not have access to the spacebattle forum or even know what it is, as well as leaving potential helpful criticism for your story here on the website. Plus, it makes it accessible to many G-Fans here on the site.)
But that's just my opinion.
This gives me so much hope that S.H. MonsterArts will make a much better Burning Godzilla figure than NECA.
Gotta love this movie
So, just a re-paint of the first bandai Godzilla? I'm cool with that
wannnttt
noooowww
I love that movie
Very noice
I liked the movie
Man Monsterarts really messed with us there. I thought it was 2019 Burning Godzilla
yes i agree with you but for rodan, the sh monsterat one look more solid and detail, mine got really loose joint on the wings and the colorskin did look better on the prototype :'( but until the release of SHMA rodan, i think this is my best rodan toy
https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/gojiverse-extended-edition-multicrossover-creative-feedback-is-appreciative.768371/ Also i've been posting it on spacebattle forum but if you want I could continue to post here on scified.
Awesome, sorry I am two days late. Well it kind of inflated to a multi kaiju crossover with some reinvention of the godzilla lore.
Also picture 3 looks REALLY FRICKN' COOL
Looks more like a dragon in a video game
Nice, but WHY did they EVER give him feathered wings? He's a Pteranodon! They may call him "fire bird", but he's NOT ACTUALLY A BIRD!!...
...Sorry 'bout that rant, these are really cool anyways.
I got King Kong and Mothra as my two kaiju.
Also, yes, I am back. Surprised to see me?
Poor, underrated Ebirah....he's on my favorites list somehow.
Gmkgoji I like it too, but the Monsterarts version looks more appealing to me
WEEEEEElll... While I agree on most of your statements, I have to say that Neca's atomic blast figure is absolutely amazing
I knew Rodan would win from the start, since Mothra doesn't do well with fire.
SpaceGodzilla
(Damn Im evil)
then MechaGodzilla
Yeah... it was kinda one sided... was rooting for Titanosaurus to stay alive, but he died first lol
Well now to wait for this to show up on eBay, I currently have the 2014 poster version on the way from Japan
It's alright. As long as it somehow explains the gap between this, the events of G2014, and G2019.
Also, yes, I am finally back on the website. Surprised?
If only Mothra had an ass knife...
Nice job on the fight! Was really fun to read!
Yeah, sorry if we didn't make that clear. The Behemoth is from Evolve!
The behemoth in the story is NOT the sloth-ape-mammoth
I got Mothra and Godzilla in order.
yeeeet
First of all, I'd like to just throw this out...
Gigan Doesn't have red eyes, he has a red cybernetic visor, and this two plausible reasons... It is likely to portray his half mechanical nature as glowing eyes has often been used to indicate robots made up to resemble living organisms, to show that they are in fact, machines... The other reason dates back to the original Gigan, which was green and gold, not black, and I'm pretty sure i have seen a version that had black eyes... The red glowing visor originates from this version, which fired a beam from it's eyes (or between them) that would neutralize Godzilla's atomic breath. They never showed him fire it in the old movies, but it was shown and explained in the game Godzilla: Monster of Monsters, and after reading it in the manual and playing the game it matched the fact that in most fights with Gigan, Godzilla took the longest time and worst beatings, before he finally used his breath attack. According to that game, it was because he just couldn't do it, because Gigan's gaze was preventing it. As I said, they never showed Gigan fire this beam in the old movies, but rather, it seemed to be a constant effect, represented by a red light shining from between his eyes.
With that said, I would like to just say that I would not like to see the Muto Turned into Gigan, I like the Muto is a it's own and completely new creature, rather than just a revision of a old one. Both the old Ghidorah and Gigan were shown in the old series to be weapons that war mongering aliens would either use, or sell to others to use.
In Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster, Ghidorah was said to have wiped out the civilization of Venus or Mars, which was at least centuries ahead of our current civilization, and then he came to earth to do the same here. When he failed, it was revealed in the sequel movie, Godzilla VS Monster Zero, it was revealed that he was under the control of the people of Planet X (No not the Xilians, despite what the wikis may claim, the People of Planet X and the Xilians are entirely different in biology, culture, and technology) thae fact Ghidorah had turned out to be under the control of an alien race the whole time suggests that Ghidora destroyed mars/Venus under the commands of the people of Planet X. Given the advancement of Mars/Venus, it is highly likely that the planet's people were a space faring race and must have entered into a war with Planet X, a war they lost when Planet X unleashed Ghidorah on them... Later, Ghidorah returned in Destroy All Monsters as a weapon of the people of Kilak, which must have bought him from Planet X, he then returned again with Gigan's first appearance, in which they are both under the control of super evolved alien cockroaches, which controlled them via special audio tapes. That's the last Ghidorah would be seen in that series for a long time, but Gigan returned in Godzilla VS Megalon. In that movie, Megalon, a creature very similar to Gigan, appearing to be cybernetic, having limbs that could combine to become a mechanical drill, spit bombs, and a thunder cannon on it's head, was under the control of the Seatopians, an ancient civilization of people who lived in the hollow earth. When they discovered that Godzilla was coming to fight Megalon, they grew afraid and asked Easter island for help and they responded by sending Gigan to fight for them. Easter Island has long been thought to be an Alien landing site, so it's likely that Seatopia some how had an alliance with some aliens who happens to possess Gigan at the time.
I feel that the space weapon background should remain and it would be more plausible if Ghidorah, since he has already been identified to be an Alien from outer space in King of the Monsters, also turns out to be a weaponized space monster, sent to Earth long ago to conquer it and his destruction by Godzilla set off a signal to the aliens and when they finally answer the signal, they bring Gigan with them.
Indeed. The spikes lighting up during inhalation and exhalation is a neat effect and it suggests interaction with the environment (drawing something from the air?). The spikes also just look cool. It adds depth to know that they serve an actual function though imo. Even though it is all just a story, finding a plausible purpose makes the creature even more interesting and can inspire discussion/debate.
dk,
I don't see any reason to remove them and it makes him look less powerful. Dougherty once likened his spikes to his "crown" which is why he made them bigger in the latest film.
It's a prominent part of his design at this point I think removing them would be akin to removing the second mouth of the xenomorph.
Also, have you noticed Godzilla's spikes light up before and while his atomic breath is fired? The electrical discharge vents excess radioactivity. But aside from that it's a very cool, old visual characteristic. It's also added moments of dramatic buildup throughout the years. Whenever his spines glow you know what's coming.
My kaiju idea is names titanus primodal (aka primalon). He is roughly 389 ft, and he lives underwater but can still breath on land. He can swim as fast as 150 mph Has a humanoid body figure with a long hind tail. His head has frills and obviously he would have gills. He has the basic features such as claws and sharp teeth. But his deadliest attack is when he reaches top speed underwater he can leap out of water surrounded in a veil of spiraling water that he can use to strike threats once. This is a concept design:
