The same goes here in America. Half the time I think I'm the only one in my area that knows that there is a 1954 Godzilla movie or that he even exists, let alone someone who actually likes it. Also, XD

Thanks for going so in depth into your thoughts on each film. It really helped me get your perspective, and I understand where you're coming from. I haven't watched any Millenium movies besides Godzilla 2000, GMK, and Godzilla V.S. Megaguirus (not sure why in the fuck I thought GMK was Heisei for a moment there, really dropped the ball on that one). I agree with your assessment on 2000, but I personally like GMK. Godzilla V.S. Megaguirus was a pretty fun one too. Anyways, I'm just going to stop posting on this article. Thanks for effort you put into your detail. Maybe you should do an actual review of each movie as separate topics, it'd be pretty interesting to hear your thoughts on all of them.

Yet again, thank you for the effort and detail you've put into this. As a heads up, I think any further conversations unrelated to Kong's beard are supposed to go to the "Topic for Discussions" that MDK just made. So after this comment I'll be looking for responses there, but since we're practically done it makes more sense to wrap this up here, so I'll finish it.
G'2000: I understand the American version actually cuts a lot of the superfluous padding, but I'm assuming that's the version you watched anyways so I'm just mentioning this for posterity.
GMK: Actually the G-suit has a huge head compared to stuff like the Heisei suits after '84, but otherwise I'll agree this one definitely has its flaws. Personally I'm more peeved this movie snubbed Anguirus and Varan in favor of name recognition, it messes with a lot of preestablished constants just to make it more marketable and that carries over to the monster designs(though I liked Mothra a lot too, she actually has bug feet instead of chicken claws).
GaM'02 & Tokyo SOS: I rather like these, but definitely the first more. The bone thing makes a bit more sense when you consider that G'54's spirit is supposed to be alive inside Kiryu, just suppressed by the machinery. He was brought back without a say, and he just wants to rest in peace. It's silly, but it works for me.
Final Wars: This one definitely requires the right mindset to enjoy, I personally love it but I get that it's not what everyone wants to see in their Godzilla films. I don't like the new design for Anguirus, but that rolling move was pulled straight from GDAMM because they thought it was cool and I agree. It did go through some visual changes because of the new suit, but still...
Anywho, glad to see this has been a productive conversation, and I'm sure the rest of us will now have a better understanding of where you're coming from going forward. I'd personally be down for that, but obviously either in it's own topic or in the aforementioned Discussion topic. Thanks one final time for taking this in stride and being so civil about the whole thing, it's amazing what can be accomplished when people stop shouting at each other and listen.

Lora was predominantly in blue. She was played Sayaka Yamaguchi in the first two Mothra movies (swoon) and replaced by Misato Tate in the third.
Sayaka Yamaguchi became a huge TV star not long after the second movie, so I assume her career just got too big for a dying sub-genre.
Now the Millenium series, But first: @Gomi: Ninja Monster Destroy All monsters melee was a GREAT game. @Kamoebas V.6 Dude, Come on I'm trying to be civil here, Just disagree and move on. ok.....
Godzilla 2000: This one is popular with the younger G crowd and understandably so; It was the first real G film that saw a pretty good theatrical release, But I'm just not into it. I love Orga, But the G suit looks like a rat to me. I don't like the broad neck and the purple spikes and the secod act draaaaags. The final kill is great though.
GvsMegaguirus: Again, Boring fight scenes (again, to me), Same lame G suit, the interdimensional stuff just did nothing for me. I do like Megaguirus as a kaiju; Her roar is great and she's a smart fighter. I also like the score of this film as well, But that's all I can give it.
GMK: I get A LOT of shit for this, But I nearly hate this movie. I despise the G suit; Tiny head, Over-sized feet, pot belly, white eyes, and the neck is too long. The suits just look too fake and rubbery to me and I hate what they did to Baragon; They shrunk him and changed his roar which i thought was one of the more unique in the Toho universe. The ending was dumb; with G shooting his atomic breath out of his shoulder then blowing up and his his heart is left to regenerate....bleh. I thought Mothra's wasp-esque look was cool.
G against Mechag'02: One of the most boring, stale, unnecessary G films there is. Mechag's design is a little better this time around bu that's it. Lame fight scenes, absolute zero cannon is dumb, and the lead actress has the charisma of a dead rat.
Tokyo S.O.S.: Same same old. Again, Unnecessary and boring as hell. Never thought I would get tired of MechaG but I was bored of him by the middle of this film. One of the dumbest plots of any Gfilm with the bones of the original G must be returned blah blah blah. My biggest problem with the 2 kiryu films is that G is depicted as just a big, dumb animal, When in the past he was shown to have intelligence when fighting.
G final Wars: <shudders> I won't get into too much detail other than this film is a steaming pile of dog shit. Goofy aliens, Terrible re-imaginings of classic monsters ( King Caesar in particular), Anguirus rolling was just....I can't even. Good monster time was sacrificed for boring human fights and stupid goth coat flipping bullshit.
Well that's it! I know I can phrase my posts better on here and I will work on that, But I am just giving an opinion. I am giving G'14, K:SI and KOTM another watch this weekend. If anyone cares enough, I will give an honest re-watch opinion.

Mothra is taking the picture. Shin is just looking lost like a senile grandpa, Heisei, Showa, and Millenium are just staring off at the camera smiling while Legendary is giving Zilla a piggy back ride.
... Wouldn't that be like an 8 year old sitting on his head? And shouldn't it be Zilla Junior? XD
Either way, fucking sounds hilarious and adorable. What's shin doing in all this? Is he just that one guy like me who doesn't want to be in the picture at all? Are all the other Godzilla's picking on him? Is Millenium hogging up the picture? Who's taking the picture? Godzilla Junior?
